Love this product for my hair products! Great always packed correctly!

First time I've tried marshmallow root from Frontier and I'm so happy with it! Yes it has a strong smell but the marshmallow root I was buying from a different supplier also had a very distinct smell. But this seems to be a superior product based on how well it gels when I make an infusion, and how wonderful it tastes when I drink it - very fresh tasting. It also makes my gut feel good. Thank you!

I have bought both the 8oz and the 16oz bags by the same manufacturer and found the 16oz package to be far superior in freshness and flavor. The 16oz bag of marshmallow root was white, larger cuts, and tastes mild and slightly sweet. The 8oz bag was darker in color, more of a crushed consistency, and had a smell and taste like celery, though still pleasant and effective for stomach ailments. I definitely prefer the product I got in the 16oz foil bag and would suggest it over the 8oz.

Nothing to dislike

I steep 6T in 6 or 7 c of water daily. It tastes great (I now add stevia, miso, and 2T coconut vinegar to each batch…yum!)First, it makes a big difference in my pain that comes from inflammation. Sadly, i have many other sources of pain, oh well, what’s a girl to do?It is easier to clean the strainer than some others Ive tried…this brand is very clean without a lot of dust and other particles.It also seems a good value. Well packaged in foil, which I further keep in a gallon bag, to keep it fresh as possible.It’s great!

This is my third pound of Marshmallow Root and yes, it does not smell as nice as the first two. Smell is hard to describe and could be off-putting and scary - very intense parsley/parsnip root "notes" . Speaking with Frontier representative I was assured that it still comes from Bulgaria. I had some messy root from other countries, badly cleaned, badly chopped or both. Texture of this product is excellent (could be better if more fines and dust were removed) and color is superb - might have been bleached. Tea is nice, mucilaginous and soothing and seems to do what is supposed to. It would be five stars if it had the previous gentle aroma and sweetness. Odor may be result of a different soil or weather, though it is more likely due to storage in porous bags next to other herbs or aromatic oils. We are in for a few years of disrupted supply routes and inconsistent production quality. If you are in the market for Marshmallow Tea this is, probably, your best bet. I am rolling the dice but giving the sellers benefit of the doubt.

I believe this tea has assisted with healing various symptoms within my digestive tract. It’s a wonderful product. I put it right in my cup/mason jar and pour hot water over it. The marshmallow root sinks to the bottom. It has a mild flavor. Highly recommend.
