However the keys did not all seal properly I took it to a wood wind store where they said it only needed a few minor adjustments
I ordered this Clarinet for my granddaughter she has been playing a leased Buffet from the school. The cost was $30 per month and it was always in need of repair. She moved from beginning to symphony band this year which is advanced band in Jr. High. I read the review and decided to give it a try. The sound far exceeds the Buffet student instrument. However the keys did not all seal properly I took it to a wood wind store where they said it only needed a few minor adjustments indicating for the money it was a good purchase. When my granddaughter reaches high school we will go to the wood wind store to purchase a wood clarinet. The technician at the store recommended we keep this one for marching band. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because we needed to have the key pads adjusted. One more important thing it comes with a case which is not mentioned in the description. Well worth the purchase price.

Nice horn and sound but the ligature would not even stay on the mouthpiece. I had to use the one from my old horn. That was a drag.

Nice intermediate level for high school.
Purchased this to replace my son's Suzuki which I bought off of Amazon about four years ago when he first started band in elementary school. Now that he will be going to high school and in marching band he wanted a better primary instrument and to keep the Suzuki as a backup. This one fit the bill nicely. My wife checked it out and said it sounded good and was a great value (she is a former professional clarinet player). A little tight to begin with so use cork grease every time before and after. Using Vandoren reeds, and he has a yamaha mouthpiece with Rovner ligature for backup.
