Pete saved me from becoming a Scrooge with my kid's toothpaste.
Ok, this dog has saved me from losing my mind with the amount of toothpaste used by my kids.We use toothpaste that's natural and without floride. These tubes cost more money that your usual Colgate or Crest.I was so peeved my kids would squeeze copious amounts onto their toothbrush. I started feeling like I was Scrooge when I started rationing out the toothpaste. My last straw was when my youngest preschooler decided to help get the toothpaste out, instead of squeezing it, he'd fill the tube with water and shake it out.Since we have used toothpaste Pete, each kid puts just the right amount of toothpaste and my youngest doesn't water fill the tube!Happy Dance!Note: the hand doesn't really pop open unless you press hard which can lead to wastefulness.I explained to my kids they should open Pete's paw first then squeeze and that has been much more successful.

Love it
This little thing is adorable and brings a smile every time we use it. It's a little pricey for what it is, but it's so cute - who cares. My grandson enjoys it and so do we. It works just fine - but just know that when you screw it on in place of the original toothpaste cap, there are no stops on it so it will continue to spin around. The toothpaste does come out in a smaller bead but so what? We like it.

Cute but not ideal
Cute idea but definitely messy as other reviewers described. Encouraged my kids to keep the cap on at first, until it started becoming a sticky mess.

Cute and slightly annoying
Does require frequent washing as the toothpaste gets stuck on the way to the brush.

Toothpaste gets kind of gunky in it. What can I say, I dropped the caps of both my tubes of toothpaste down the drain in the communal bathroom of my college dorm. I thought, what the hell, I'll try this. It's cute and gets the job done.

Vomiting minty worms! Mmmmmmmmm
Just ok. My 6yo daughter didn't care for it probably mostly because the puppy looks silly more so than cute and the ease of use was not stellar. We took it off and will give it away. You have to pull the paw out of the mouth to use... then push the nub on its interior back in upon conclusion of use. In this position (paw over mouth) it has a cartoonish look of trying to hold back vomit. But maybe that's the fun of it??Does not fit all toothpastes. One we bought in Chile does not accommodate.

I love it, too
My 3 year old loves it. Who am I kidding... I love it, too! Actually, the lazy part of me is talking myself into getting one for my toothpaste, too. It’s cute and easy to use. The only thing I would change is for it to screw on, instead of just pushing it on. It can be pulled off easily (but not too easily). I’ll definitley buy another.

It is really cute, and my daughter loved it. Because the past goes through an extra space, it is messy- but I knew that when I ordered it. It is more for novelty than function.
