I love this charger, it works great. It glows blue when plugged in which is helpful especially at night. It will charge anything that uses a USB port to charge at 2.1 amps and lower. The ports are 2.1 amps and 1 amp. Any tablet type device usually would need to use the 2A port, phones can use either but I notice my iphone 5 charges better using the 2A port. It will work in any car that has a cigarette lighter or accessory port. Two phones can charge at once if you have a passenger who has their own charging cord. It will charge android, iphone, and whatever else type of phone that uses a USB port.

I was looking forward to using this device after seeing it had four 1/2 stars... it seemed ideal as it was compact and even had color options. But it did not deliver in quality at all... the sound would often cut out, and worse while trying to remove the device in a perfectly normal manner, with normal pressure and speed? It broke apart in my hands! It is now entirely useless and I am out the money I spent... granted it wasn’t a ridiculous amount of money? But it’s still money I spent in good faith I was getting a good quality item... unfortunately u can’t seem to give a half star or that’s what this would have gotten, less even... just so I could try to warn people off...

UPDATE - replacement sent never worked AT ALL. DO NOT BUY THIS!!Most of the reviews aren’t even for this item. This is a splitter for the stupid iPhone that won’t let you charge and listen to headphones at the same time. Which genius thought that up??It worked for less than 5 minutes and broke. I was lying in bed so wasn’t doing anything but lying there - and it just stopped working. When I looked at it, the center piece had fallen out.

I have gone through SO many cigarette chargers and hated almost all of them... I ordered about 6 different ones online just to try and find one that I liked and this thing is AWESOME! solid aluminum, well made, looks very good, back lit face plate. I liked it so much I ordered two more. As someone who has made it a personal mission to find a really good cigarette charger, I highly recommend this one.

I haven't had this charger long, but so far so good. It has a soft blue light to indicate it's charging and I love the dual plugs for a friend to use. I got so tired of chargers that stopped working after a month or so, or the cords were so short it was ridiculous. I bet I've returned five chargers in the last three months for one reason or another. I'm hoping this is a keeper.

Extended the life of my phone. My old Note 2 was not holding a charge. I could not work a full shift as an Uber driver since my phone would die. No phone, no work. I got another 6 months out of it with this. Instead of just keeping it from dying, it fully charged my phone while running multiple Uber app and streaming music.

I ordered 2 of these, and the first one quit working after two weeks of use. I'm on my spare already. When the charger is working correctly, it works great. The light blue LED glow is not overbearing to have on at night while driving, and having two USB plus is great. But given my small sample size a 50% failure rate is not boast-worthy.As a follow-up, I was contacted by the seller and given a free replacement no-questions-asked, and it was delivered timely.
