On Hedersleben's second album Die Neuen Welten, the band really have hit their stride. Now with the line-up of Nicky Garratt (Guitars), Kephera Moon (Keys), Kati Knox (Vocals), Bryce Shelton (Bass), and Jason Willer (Drums/Percussion) the band have created a dramatic and enjoyable set of space rock that will instantly take you back to the early 1970s. Since the recording of the album earlier this year, Ariana Wagaman has joined on vocals, violin, and keyboards.

Criminally underrated band
I've seen this band open for Nik Turner 4 times, and I love them. I have all four of their albums and I think this one's the best. Their most recent album (Orbit) is their weakest IMHO because it features a new vocalist who I find annoying (and she has a goofy stage presence at the live shows that detracts from the music). Hedersleben makes space/jam rock that should appeal to fans of Hawkwind and the great German bands of the early 70's like Guru Guru, Ash Ra Tempel, and Agitation Free. Their first three albums are all excellent.
