Horrible smell, seek another product
My cats had there claws removed and I was told by the vet that they needed special litter. This litter met those requirements. Now as for the seller the product itself came fast, no complaints for speed. For the actual product is stinks, literally. I removed the fecal mater, but when this product comes into contact with cat urin the stench from the 2 combined is horrible. I was changing the litter every day and the stench lingered. I did order a second order until I figured what the smell was coming from, then I could not get rid of it fast enough. I gave this litter to a shelter so some one benefits. Add to the smell with the fact that after 4 days of use even the cats would not use the box. they started urinating and pooping elsewhere. I would not recommend this litter, nor will I buy this again. Do more research and find a better product.

Change in Good Mews is bad news.
I have been using Good Mews for about 8 months after getting tired of all the dust from Swheat Scoop. It was perfect; no odor, no tracking, easy to lift used areas. It is $6.99 for the 16# at my local pet store and $7.99 at the Fred Meyer. But the last one I bought had a very strange odor, similar to rotting fruit. I called the owner of the company and was told that the manufacturer had changed the paper and the glue, creating this different odor. Unfortunately, my cats will not even get int he litter box with this new, unpleasant odor. I now must find another litter made of paper at about the same cost. Any suggestions?

good mews is sooooooo cheap at Fred Meyer's
good mews is sooooooo cheap at Fred Meyer's! the 30 lb bag is under $10!!!!!!i'm currently weaning my 3 cats off of strictly clay litter, which, for two years, has caused me to literally EXCAVATE the pee clods...but alas, we had to downgrade from WORLD'S BEST CAT LITTER, which is still my all time fav, but we are now pretty darn broke-ass! so...we seek humbler litters with lower price points.i think Good Mews might indeed be stinky. at the moment, it has an excellent price locally, although i would gladly buy it from Amazon instead of Fred Meyers, which is a store i do not like at all. i live on the southernmost tip of the Oregon coast, so retail options are few and far between.;......i like the reviews for Yesterday's News.....and may get a bag of it. when my girls do not like their litter, they simply cop a squat outside the box, they show NO SHAME. lmao!!!!!Chewy.com is also a great site to get ALL CAT RELATED PRODUCTS, FOLKS!divide and conquer, i say.....have options, options, options!!!!!!ciao for now, glaza siniy

Great for rabbits!
Use for my bunny. It's perfect! As for a cat whose urine has a smell (p-u) I wouldn't use it (I have a cat too). But I don't buy anything else for the bunn.
