lid stays on pretty tight, but it's hard to get the lid on and off. also, I'm not sure if it was just the ones I had received or not, but mine sorta had sharp edges on the lid and I wound up slicing my fingers on it the first time using them. As long as you don't slide your fingers along the sides of it while trying to open/close it, you should be fine.

Love these storage containers have been using these for a few months and they work great. I have used them in the Microwave and they are dish washer safe. I use them for make ahead meals, being single I cook a weeks worth of meals 1 day a week. Better healthy meals than take out food and a lot cheaper, I buy a bag of salad mix for about a Dollar and add some tomatoes so I have a mixed salad for about $1 each which is 4 salad per bag of mix. Nice to take a good meal to work.

Overall, a great product and great value. I also [as another reviewer mentioned] have a little problem getting the lid off. And with the time I've been using, I noticed the one I use most is starting to get a little brittle. I would still buy again.

This is, by far, the most useful purchase I've ever made from Amazon! My husband is terrible at remembering to bring his lunch containers home after work. He's taken several of my bowls and forgotten to get them when he leaves, and the cleaning crew disposes of anything left when they come on shift. I've lost $75 worth of bowls in the past year. If he forgets these I won't be so concerned. The lids fit perfectly, and they hold a lot!

I bought a set of these several years ago and was super happy with them. They sealed well and had a nice design. The new set I just received are disappointing. They don't seal well. They have a vent hole in the lid. So they leak everywhere if they get tipped.

I brought these for measuring out portions of pet food. My ferrets eat raw food, and I have to chop and divide the 2 - 3lb meat into portions to last them several days. These bowls are the perfect size for 8oz meals (and could fit more if I wanted). The lids fit securely and they wash very well in the dishwasher.

I wasn't expecting much from these, but they're actually really excellent. The plastic is pretty darn sturdy, the lid fits snugly and the doomed top has been really great (no worries about overfilling it). I've washed them and reused many time. I love them.

The lids are TERRIBLE to remove. I purchased these in 2015 and loved them so much I reordered more, and in the meantime the manufacturing has changed and the lids are manufactured differently. You can't get them off easily once you finally get them on. So disappointed!
