AT&T U-Verse S30-S1B Remote Control 20655

This remote replaced an ATT remote that no longer worked. ATT support was useless but was a bit apprehensive about ordering from Amazon. However, the remote worked perfectly right out of the package. For us, we did not need to reprogram, but you MAY have to program yours. The remote works with our Samsung TV and ATT cable box. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Price was reasonable and it was delivered ahead of schedule. I am all for supporting small businesses and this company does it right.

The remote works fine with our new Samsung t.v., although I still have to use the t.v. remote to switch from AT&T U-verse to Amazon Prime. However, I'm not sure it is actually a new remote as the back of it shows some wear and scratches. Not a big deal to me as long as it keeps working.

This has to be one of the worst products on Amazon. I am sure some folks think this is as good as it gets. I followed the instructions on the back of the remote to do a quick setup. The remote responds to the TV shutting off and on. It responds to the volume control. And that's all it does. Then I opened the paper instructions. followed them to a T and nothing changed. Ninety-eight % of the remote is useless. In the picture of the product it has an A&T symbol, both the remote sent to me a sticker reading "Made in China", no indication of AT&T at all—shame on AT&T for making customers buy new remotes. JUNK

This arrived quickly a couple of weeks ago but I used the crippled old one out of inertia until this week. The new one is identical but is lighter and more responsive to the touch. It was easy to activate. The Quick Setup directions were printed on the back and easy to follow. It came with batteries, too.One odd thing: It doesn't turn the TV off. I followed the instruction sheet repeatedly (involving the FF key) but got only the TV program toggling with the screensaver pictures. Since this is solid state technology, I am not worried about the extra electricity pennies per year this incurs. (I do my best to watch cable-TV about 20 hours/day anyhoo.)Also, the seller, Buyeverythingguy.com encloses a sheet with his warranty. I don't plan to bother him with the on/off issue as my engineer brother is about to visit and even if he can't fix this problem I probably won't worry. Buyeverythingguy emphasizes he runs a small business and is super-responsive. As a retiree from my own small business, I appreciate that and may visit his website just to see what else with buttons I might be missing.

Easy to “install”. No problems at all :)

I’m not extremely tech savvy but I was able to set this up easily. My only complaint is that the volume button has to go up one notch at a time. I can’t just hold it down and watch it go up or down.Can’t remember how the old one worked.

All buttons we use work as needed, unlike the cheaper versions

Works great. Easy set up-just follow the directions on the sticker that is on the back. Very pleased with the simplicity of it.
