This case was one of the cheapest 2018 paperwhite case I found. For under $10 this case does have all that I wanted. It fits the kindle snuggly (will not fall out of the case on its own) has a cover for screen (though the inside is a bit rougher than I'd like (though probably won't damage the screen?) and has a magnet so it put your kindle to sleep when you close the cover. Not to mention the design looks pretty good, will give your kindle a nice flair.The plastic backing of the case is fairly thin so while it might protect your kindle from small bumps and scrapes, if you drop it from a large height, the case probably won't do too much. also the cover material doesn't seem the most durable. If it gets bent I can see it creasing easily. Not to mention, based on my experience with other products, the edges of the cover may fray other time, but so far so good.Overall, I think this case is excellent for the price and I would recommend it for anyone looking to add a bit of protection again scratches and some flair.

I love this cover!It fits my kindle perfectly and seems like it would protect it in a fall.I have a fancy handmade leather case I bought off Etsy, this one was purchased a back-up for traveling, but I like it so much I've been using it daily.The edges were stiff at first but have broken in. The image is wearing off a bit after 2 months on the corners. Being it was literally the least expensive cover on Amazon, I can't complain.

At the time I bought this, it cost barely more than a large Starbucks frap and was almost half the cost of the closest priced cover. It has worked completely perfectly for seven months and is now developing some chips on the corners. Though the edges are obviously not smooth so does distract me because I fidget a bit, the case still works fine and protects what I need it to (the corners haven't fallen off entirely so they're still protected).At the price it is now (in the $10 range), I wouldn't recommend it above something else a few dollars more that might last longer, but if there's a price drop, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this one. It isn't the best cover (I've never had a Kindle cover that chipped like this but also have never bought one this cheap), but it is absolutely the best value for money.

When I retrieved my new kindle purchase from the local Amazon store, I was informed it is generation 10. No covers were available at the store so I ordered a 10th generation cover. It doesn't fit. I reviewed both orders carefully and discovered my kindle is the 2019 build, but the case is for a 2018 build. Why is the sizing just a little off whereby my 2019 10th generation does not fit a 2018 10th generation. Crazy. Not acceptable.

Overall I like the case and am happy with my purchase.Good price, looks and is as advertised. It came in packaging and is new, does not look used or worn.For the money I think it's a good buy.Holds my Paperwhite 2018 10th generation. The magnetic top closes nicely and wakes & sleeps.Design wise I'm wondering how the material will hold up if I fold the front to the back while reading it?If a magnet was added to side of the front and back covers, it would help keep it folded back.

I like the cover design (the Universe). It's very light and thin, so it's easy to slip in a bag for travel. It stays closed until pulled open. Works just as it should. I only have one small qualm: the side on the right is so narrow that I sometimes accidentally turn the page by barely touching it without meaning to. Just have to be more careful. Great price, so it's very worth it.

What can I say? It's light weight yet protects the paperwhite perfectly. I am a bit clumsy so I wouldn't even take my kindle out of the box before I received the case. It (the case) has already saved my kindle's life on several occasions. I love the design and the entire Kindle (with the case) fits in my pocket. Excellent value

I bought this case because I've been putting it off so long, and my Kindle has already suffered a few small scratches due to my procrastination. This case may be the cheapest case for the 2018 Paperwhite I could find, but it does not disappoint! I think the design is really cute and, most importantly, it fits just as advertised. Closing the magnetic cover activates sleep mode, and opening it wakes up the device. It seems pretty well made and I'm sure it will prevent any further scratches to my screen.
