The Harmonik Gloves are a revolutionary string harmonics attachment designed for the SpiderCapo, allowing musicians to enhance their sound by producing harmonics on open strings while keeping fingered notes clear. This innovative tool helps reduce acoustic feedback, mute selected strings, and define open tunings, making it a must-have for guitarists seeking versatility and precision in their performances.

fantastic addition to a fantastic product
Stellar addition to a wonderfawesome product. SpiderCapo is the handiest accessory I've bought for my guitars since the sticky plectrum holders you can affix to your guitar. I own 3 SpiderCapos, two sets of the gloves and one "regular capo." Use multiple Spiders at once or with the regular capo, go from standard tunings to alternate/open tunings with extreme ease. If you're looking for a great gift for a musician, a SpiderCapo and a set of these is what you want to get them. Genius device. Only full, partial or individual string capo put there. DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF BUYING THE CHEAP ALTERNATIVE (flanger f20): it will ruin the guitar neck if it even lasts that long. SpiderCapo is where it's at. 110%

Can't seem to find the sweet spot for the harmonics to work
First off, I've been playing guitar for 15 years, so I know which frets are harmonics. I can't get the rubber caps to sit on the fret with the correct placement of the spidercapo (flush against the fret in front of it). I've managed to get them (some of the strings, not all) to produce a harmonic, however I had to adjust the spidercapo back, away from it's correct placement, and slide the tips slightly off the switches to where they're not snugly on there. I was really looking forward to using these, as I LOVE the spidercapo, and play mostly rhythm (strumming} acoustic guitar. If there's another way to get these to function please let me know, because for me the caps seem too short to reach the fret to produce harmonics while playing. The only thing I can use these for at the moment is to dampen the sound (mute) from specific strings. 3 stars because they are useful to an extent but not quite as I had imagined from the advertisement.

not too great
Not exactly what I hoped for. This product is only the six little rubber nibs that fit on the ends of the spider capo, which must be bought separately. As far as the harmonic sound, it's very difficult it get and impossible to get the same harmonic tone you get from a finger, because your finger must be pulled away to allow the string to ring. With these rubber things, it is a muted sound. And the price is too high for 6 tiny pieces of rubber. I was really looking forward to the possibilities, but I am going to have to stick to my fingers.

GREAT for muting strings during solos
This is what I have been looking for. It mutes any or all the strings and mutes adjacent strings while soloing. Makes my playing sound cleaner. I tried other products (like Planet Waves style) and this is the ONLY one that mutes the same as pressing your finger across the strings behind the fret. Yes you have to buy the Spider Capo, which is an excellent product.I wasted $$ trying out the other inconsistent muting devices until finding this.

Lots of fun!
Easy to use and works as expected. Once you realize that you can have ringing harmonics, it generates lots of new musical ideas. If you love playing guitar, Harmonik Gloves are just one of those things that you need to have. Great Fun!

Not great
Usually, I'm very positive about products. But the harmonics don't work and it was a neat idea and I would have loved it if it worked. The original product is good not this attachment

Very easy to install and simple to use!
Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. I have no issues with this product. I bought them specifically to play "She Is Music" by Antoine Dufour and I have absolutely no issue positioning them to get clean harmonics effortlessly. I highly recommend!

It works but it is not easy to use
The product performs as advertised, although it requires for the user to be precise and patient when placing the gloves on the strings. I see that the product can be improved by not allowing for the vibration of the strings to push the gloves up. After a few minutes playing the harmonics cannot be heard clearly as they should, per the product description. Overall, it is a great idea, but the product needs to be improved for anyone to obtain the same results/benefits when using it.
