Excellent paper at a price that won’t break the bank
I use this paper for my some of my calligraphy projects. It has a texture that looks very nice (although the texture requires a bit of care with my pen, but I knew that before I bought it). This paper is very absorbent (which means that my fine lines do not “feather”, they remain sharp. This is a big deal to calligraphers, because lots of our lettering is very precise and different elements of out letters and flourishing can be very close together. If the paper causes the lines to feather or bleed into each other, the piece is ruined. This paper is great for preventing this. It’s nice and thick (140 lb). Highly recommend.

Good paper
This paper is really good. Been using it for a while now. It does warp a little when it starts to dry, but then it flattens itself back out.

Unforgiving but Good for Practice
I both love and hate this paper. It feels like a more expensive paper when you are practicing brush strokes, so that is great. But you quickly discover how unforgiving and unevenly this paper dries. If you have any hesitancy in your brush strokes or try to go back over an area wet in wet, it will show. Blooms are a major problem due to the uneven drying. My Fabriano 100% cotton is wonderful, but even my 100% cellulose dries more evenly and is more forgiving. However, I’m choosing to continue to use this paper for practice. The price point is awesome, and I’m discovering that because of its unforgiving nature, my brush strokes have to be bold and quick, which is something I’m wanting to develop anyway. If you can perfect brush strokes on this paper, then move to the more expensive paper, I think it will serve you well. In all honesty, because the 100% cotton, more expensive version of Fabriano (Artistico), is so much more forgiving, I’m not forced to improve my brush work. I don’t think I would ever recommend this product for a final painting, but for practice drills, it does what it should, and I do like the feel and absorbency of the paper even if the results are so uneven. A huge pro is that water doesn’t pool on the surface like cellulose paper does. I can translate my skills learned on this paper much more easily than I can going from 100% cellulose to 100% cotton, which behave so differently that it is like starting over. Another pro is that I don’t stress out when my brush work is ugly because this is cheap. I can also use this paper for swatching and color mixing tests without wasting my much more expensive paper. I am already noticing an improvement in my brush work after just a few hours. When my brush work is perfect, the results are very nice. Just be forewarned that using this for final pieces will require pretty much no mistakes whatsoever.

Now my new go to paper!
I compared this paper to 2 different 100% cotton papers in side by side tests. Easily outperformed one of them. It was pretty comparable to the other 100% cotton paper, but that paper is roughly 4 times as expensive! Dollar for dollar this is THE best paper I’ve ever used! It will become my go to paper from now on. Love this paper!

Price to quality = great
I really like this paper. It’s not 100% cotton as it states but it retains water well. I’ve been painting with water colors now for about six months and using student grade wood pulp paper and wondering why good paints like Windsor Newton look chalky or don’t flow on the paper - giving me that beautiful translucency i so love. It’s the paper lol. So I suggest this paper to those looking for a step up but don’t want to pay exorbitant prices for watercolor paper.

Love it -a real deal
As a beginner in watercolor, I've tried ALL THE PAPER..it's crazy but I have. The problem I have had with alternatives to 100% cotton is the way the pigment lays down and looks after drying. It's uneven and hard to see your real progress unless you're using the real thing. Fabriano is the answer and it's such a deal. I see one reviewer got 12 pages but I didn't. I got all 50 pages in a thick pad and I feel fine using it for anything from exercises to painting something like florals. You can really see how you'r strokes are improving etc. Love it. This is officially the paper I'm buying when I'm not buying arches, hahnemuhl, baohoang, winsor & Newton paper. This is a real deal and a generous amount in a large thick pad. So happy with it.

It’s definitely Student Grade
I really wanted to love this product, I was hoping to find that “middle paper” between Student Grade and Artist Grade, but unfortunately this wasn’t it. To be fair I haven’t used it for all the different techniques, so I’ll update this review if anything changes, it’s great for students though.

Fabriano paper
Really disappointed with this product Seems to dry irregular with "watermarks" Have used very basic lightweight sketch book quality that's per formed better certainly not worth the extra money

コットン20パーセント水彩紙
コットン20パーセントというとモレスキン水彩用手帳と同じです。パルプのみの水彩紙は水に弱い。 この紙は、水彩画の練習用として開発された。なので、枚数が多い。安心して使える。
