Best in a helmet that has flowthru....
I have a bicycle helmet this will be ideal for. It has Velcro straps to fasten on the inner webbing. On my half helmet for motorcycling, it’s not effective because there is no flow through. It works on evaporative principle. Gotta have air flowing over it to work. Then it works well, and it’s easy to wet to recharge. Hard hats should be fine too.

Not worth it
Not worth the cash, a rag works the same. :( not satisfied, doesn't really hold water in, just doesn't work
