Great For Keeping Children From Escaping
I have never owned one with any of my children before. I have a 2 year old toddler and a 3 year old granddaughter who I take care of most of the time while her mom works and goes to school. When two babies are going different directions it can be very stressful. This has velcro straps and a cord like the old-fashion phone cords that stretches out and then back again. You simply put it on your wrist and on the child's and they can't get far. It is a leash for a child. You can also put it on one off each of the children's so they can not separate :)Right now I am just telling them if they don't behave I will hook them up and it is enough to get them to act straight. It does work well and keep them from getting away and there if I need it.

I HATE going to big public places with my kids
This thing was a LIFESAVER! I HATE going to big public places with my kids. I am a nervous wreck unless they are sitting in the stroller the whole time. But I flew with my 2 month old and my two year old for the first time and I was already sooo paranoid thinking about lugging everything on the plane by myself AND keeping up with a two year old (that is a wonderer). I checked our huge double stroller to go under the plane so I didn't have anything at the airport so my two year old had to walk the whole time. I found this online and I figured I would give it a try. I don't like the backpack leashes because it makes me feel like I'm walking a dog not my child. But this was great because I just strapped one side to me and one to his wrist and it was perfect. I love it because the child side is double strapped so its harder for them to take off. It is also padded so its very comfortable to wear. I also loved it because since it was on my wrist I could feel if he started to wonder off because it would pull my hand with him. It was so easy to function with. I had my two month old strapped to me in the Ergo and my two year old on my wrist along with diaper bags and everything. Even though he did great at the airport, it definitely gave mommy a peace of mind knowing that he was as close to me as I could make him.

Couldn't be happier!
I'm very happy with this purchase! I bought two so I'd have one for each of my sons (2 & 6) for when we are in heavily crowded places. I am someone who looked down on the use of leashes and restraints for a long time, but now, to me it's about peace of mind. My children are very well behaved in public. So much so that I've always received compliments from strangers for it. Today's world is scary though, and with abductions and trafficking on the rise, I got scared. People have tried scooping up children standing right next to their parents in my local Walmart even. When planning for a trip to the Columbus Zoo, the thought of my kids in a such a crowd had me nearly to the point of panic. These gave me peace of mind. My 6 year old actually really liked it. He liked to pretend he was a cop, and we were handcuffed to him. And while his brother was being held by grandma, he liked to use our other wrist strap to connect himself to his new souvenir dinosaur plush. I couldn't count how many people commented that these were a good idea and that they needed one! I very highly recommend these!

Just what i needed
I bought this a few years ago, my son loved to run away from us when ever we went out. He liked the lease at first however the first time we used it and i let him go he went running and when the leash went tight his feet kept going further than him and he hit the ground hard, he was okay but not happy. We tested the straps to see if he fell would it snap/hold his weight. I through the leash over the monkey bars at the park and had my 9 year old who was 60 ish lbs strap in and I was able to lift her no problem. The wrist straps held, the leash held and retain its coils. After 2 months we retired it then handed it down to my sister, shes had it for a year and has no complaints.

Great for keeping your toddler safe.
Love it. I have a feisty toddler that likes to be able to get down and run around. I was having an issue though with him thinking it was funny to just take of running and see if I could catch him. It was always scaring me that he was going to end up lost or hurt. This gives him plenty of room to have his freedom and still keeps him from being able to get to far away from me. It's nice and padded so it doesn't hurt his arm, and he's not able to get it off due to the double Velcro. I would buy again. I do get an occasional look from someone like "I can't believe you have your child attached to that", but I would much rather get a judging look from a stranger then end up seeing my baby hurt or lost.

Great to keep kids safe
This kid leash anti-lost link strap for toddlers is great if you have sprinters or you are going somewhere very crowded like an amusement park for peace of mind. The velcro is very strong! The coil is made out of stainless steel and a rubber cover and it is very durable feeling. The picture shown is how far my 5 year old can go pulling hard. So it gives enough space, but kids can't wander off too far. It is also fairly comfortable to wear.
