Does this work on a rfg297aars samsung? stainless french door, freezer on bottom?

I have RF268ABRS. Stainless french door, freezer on bottom. Works great on mine.

Does this filter work on Samsung rfg298 fridge?

It seems to. I looked up that model of fridge, and the number of the water water filter for that model is listed on the EcoAqua box. It looks the same too.

Does this filter meet standard 53 or just standard 42? (Std 53 reduces lead, murcury and other chemicals whereas 42 removes chlorine and makes clear

The box says it meets NSF/ANSI Standard 42.
