Orient Dress Watch (Model: RA-AK0002S10A), mens-standard, Deployant-clasp, stainless-steel, Analog, Swiss Automatic, 42.5, Round, stationary, 165, day-date-and-moon-phase, synthetic-sapphire, Leather, Brown, mens, 20, stainless-steel, Easy to use The most obvious thing that sets the Version 4 apart from all versions that came before it is the use of classic Arabic Numerals. Such change leaves the design refreshed: its rich, satin finish complements the hands beautifully. The sub-dial layout is identical to that of the Version 3, and is embellished with the same concentric designs. This layout is set against a crisp matte dial, which is another first for the collection. This fully allows the other components of the timepiece to be highlighted. Spec-wise, the Version 4 picks up where the last one left off, with a 42.5 wide case, 14mm thick case and a handsome, beveled design. It is also protected by a sapphire crystal and powered by the Orient caliber F6B24 automatic, hand-winding and hacking movement. The movement can be observed through an exhibition case back.

I don't get how they charge so low for this watch
So after doing some research, I passed on Swiss movement in favor of Japanese because of their famed "best value for money" approach to watches. I've heard very good things about Orient, and I have to say it is very good for the price I paid. Not only is it an automatic movement, but the build quality is excellent, the design is superb, and the leather strap... Which most watch makers go cheap on... Is probably the best quality leather I've seen on a watch. Orient also uses sapphire crystal when even comparable Seiko uses hardlex crystal, which is good but not as scratch resistant. It does not look cheap and it's a really beautiful strap. It is very hard to find a watch for this price that has day of the month, week, moonphase/sun, all in one.If you are looking for moderately priced watches to coordinate with suits and belt combos, and need a variety of strap colors and watch designs without spending thousands, definitely look into orient watches... Their history of quality watches clearly comes out with this watch and many others.

Nice watch and great value
Beautiful watch. Better than what I expected. The only thing I would do is to change the way the watch band faces. Feels like it should be worn on the right wrist instead of the left. Overall I really love the watch.

Beautiful Value
This watch is beautiful in person. Has a fun whimsy design and feels and operates as an extremely high quality piece. It's a very versitle watch and I'm excited to try it with other bands. The band it comes with has an excellent deployant clasp, but I find the material itself not to my liking.

Very nice but big for a dress watch
If you like a big watch this is for you. Big for a dress watch but still very nice. Impressed by Orient products.

Good Addition to the Collection
First Orient to my collection. Beautiful watch. Perfect for everyday business casual wear for work. Only complaint is the case thickness at 14mm is a bit much for my taste.

Great value from a respectable brand
Beautiful watch, great quality. Technically a men's size, but I bought it as a gift for my girlfriend and it was a hit. Looks great even on her small wrist.

Did not like this watch
This watch is my second Orient mechanical, I wanted a larger case and the additional features/complications. Overall though I was disappointed. One thing to point out, this is not a moonphase watch, rather the sun/moon basically acts a as a fancy 24-hour indicator (sun during the day, moon at night)Pros: The face is large but attractive and comfortable, the date is easy to read and the day of the week subdial is nice.Cons: the individual dial ticks are very small dots and very hard to read. I found the band to be uncomfortable, a lot of metal digging into my wrist. Lastly, the mechanism is very inaccurate. I don't expect chronometer level of accuracy with a watch of this cost but I found the movement gained 20+ seconds a day typically which for me is just too much. Having to hack adjust the time every two days is annoying for a watch that costs around $300.
