Quality bit. Bad design!
Take a close look at the design of these bits and you will see that the two cutters are @ such a steep angle that it will score the perimeter and center, but will not cut out the middle, because it's not making contact with anything that can cut it. Please take a close look at the pics to get a better understanding of what I mean. This 1/2 hole was drilled in some scrap oak and I couldn't go any further than what you see. The odd thing about this is, they are the sharpest brad point bits I have ever come across and the hss is excellent. That's why I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't cut. This problem is the most notable with the 3 largest bits. You have to apply more force than necessary to even go through 1/2 plywood. The bits are quality the design is very flawed.

Great drills for flat bottom holes.
Product arrived in great shape. I needed these to use pocket screws when creating butt joints where the Kreg jig was not the correct tool for that particular joint. I used my drill press, set the depth gauge and was done in minutes. I recommend these drills if you need flat bottomed holes.

Well...they drill
Great value. Wish there was a case or a plastic pouch to keep them in. But I'm satisfied overall. I use them for basic home improvement and to fix guitars. I'm not sure how well the bits would hold up on a job site.

Awesome drill bits
I was very pleased with these brad point drill bits. They were ground all around with nice sharp flute edges for good chip evacuation. They cut very well.Will definitely buy them again if I ever wear them out or lose them.

Sharp, well made, reasonably priced bits.
This product appears to be well machined, free of tool marks and reasonably well packaged. Delivery was prompt.Although motivated to review this item by the chance for a gift card, that motive has no influence on my opinion of the product itself.

Worked Great!
These bits are just what I needed--brad points to help keep the drill bit in line while installing cabinet handles. They worked great.
