OTC Knee Stabilizer Wrap, Hinged Bars, Orthotex, Black, 5X-Large

While I like the brace, the sizing is very misleading. I am a big woman and was worried that the brace would not be big enough. I measured and was still too big for the size. I ordered it anyway hoping it would work. The brace came, and it is way, way too big. It wraps around my leg one and a half times, which puts the support bars in the wrong place. If I use it how it should be used, it falls off when I stand up. The straps to secure it don't even help. I have ordered two more braces in decreasing sizes in the hopes that one will work because I think this will really help once the sie is correct.

Had great hopes for this, hard to find knee brace for big thighs. Soft..good quality and big enough..just would not stay up.slips as soon as you stand..if you start walking it drops. Has straps to tighten butwoukd be too tight. Customer service replied quickly to my questions and were very helpful.

Very well built, however, far bigger than what is stated. I found it to run roughly about 3 inches too wider than stated, so bare that in mind when ordering. The general shape, and workmanship is good for the price. It is soft and easy to put on. It lays flat and doesn't require more than the person putting it on. The velcro is very sturdy. I am trading in my 5x for a 2x with the amount of size difference.

The brace fit my leg which was surprising. However, after wearing for a short time it would start to slide but that is to be expected since my thigh is larger than my calf. At the end of the day the straps would start to cut into the back of my knee which was quite uncomfortable. To resolve this issue I started wearing the brace outside my pants (since it is winter). I have seen improvements in my knee since I have started using it. I don't have the pain and swelling that I had been having before hand. I will continue to use the brace when I exercise in the near future. I love the fact that I can bend my knee enough when using it that I can use it in yoga class (it allows me to kneel completely in the floor). I would recommend it to other fat people who can't fit anything else being that nothing else would fit for me to compare it to.

I have been living with a torn acl for the better part of 10 years. Tore it in a college football game ruined my scholarship and future in football. My insurance did provide me with a knee brace but would not cover the correct size so the place I got it through had to modify it and did a pisspoor job I wore it the first year or so and dealt with the discomfort because it is all I had to walk better . After moving 4 times in short order I lost my original brace and just dealt with the pain and unsteadiness until recentlyI found this brace on here and it was sold in a 5xl. I ordered it came 1 day early and has improved my mobility and lessen my pain in my knee and back as I can walk normally again. Only issue I have is some stitching in the upper border has came loose. Also came with no instructions on how to put on. I had to figure it out via trial and error will buy again for my left knee joint as it to has some injuries from sports

I am only giving this one a 3 star. I measured like instructed and ordered the size based on that. I should have paid attention to the other reviews. It was HUGE. Now having to return it and order a smaller brace. Other than it being very large I think it would have provided the suppot I need.

Listen to all the reviews that say this runs big. I didn't believe them and now I am wishing I had bought 1-2 sizes smaller. Overall the design and function are great so far. It has stretched a little since I purchased it so now it is too big instead of a little big.

The brace will not stay up when I walk...starts sliding and by step 5 it's at my ankle. I've tried everything I can think of. It feels good when it is on and I'm standing but as soon as I start walking it starts sliding. There is a design flaw somewhere, I see others have had the same problem.

Its way to big. I did the measurements how tge box describes and its not a good fit at all. I will be returning them. I purchased different brand.

DO NOT ORDER ! The sizing chart is completely wrong, I measured as per the chart instructions and ordered the 5XL. The brace is WAY to big, probably equal to 7-8XL, and now I am unable to return

Sizing was all wrong, I have a 20" circumference around my knee but I could have bought a 3x instead. There was so much extra material that it hurt to wear the brace. Returned immediately.

It's a perfect fit. Walking now is much better.
