I love this Traveler's Notebook. I bought the standard size first. And I like it so much that I bought this Passport size to bring along when the standard size is too big. The craftsmanship is great. The quality of the leather is superb. I look forward to many years of using it.

I love these Travelers Notebooks, especially the passport size. The best part is how they age. I carry mine with me in my back pocket everywhere. This is actually my fifth or something. I have one in every color. One thing that's a bit different about the black than other colors is that it doesn't show wear and aging as much as the browns do. This may be good or bad depending on the aesthetic you like. Of course it will show signs of use as it ages but it stays pretty pristine for much longer. All of my other TNs started to show scratches and had that broken in look starting from about a week in while the black one looks brand new for longer. Again, this is personal preference but just know that the leather is very lightly treated so that it get a patina that's unique to you.Of course you can customize the notebook however you like by filling it with as many notebooks as you like as well as other useful accessories like pen loops and plastic zipper pockets to hold stamps, paper clips etc. For this one I used 2 pocket stickers that I put on the inside front and back cover. I use these to hold loose papers that I can refer to later and quickly. Everyone's TN is different so make it your own.If you're a fan of leather bound notebooks then this is the best you can get. If you've never tried one then this will make you a convert. I always hated leather bound journals and stuck to Moleskines and Field Notes but these TN notebooks just beg you to take them everywhere with you and look good. As a man, I always thought the leather bound notebooks also looked kind of girly but Travelers Notebooks look great, feel great, and are functional no matter who you are.

This was a gift for my husband, and he fell in love with it, immediately. He uses it mostly as a journal for sketching and notes of all kinds, and loves that he can toss it in his book bag without it taking up a lot of room, or he can even put it in his back pocket. He does physical work at his job, but keeping something to write on was always a pain in the past. The typical small spirals get caught on things and rip shirt pockets or trousers, plus they end up mangled and nasty. This notebook fits in his back pocket with ease, never gets caught on anything, keeps the paper inside neat and secure, and it holds up to constant movement. That it's refillable is icing on the cake.It's also great for travel, just like its name promises. One little book is all that's needed for jotting down notes, holding a passport, storing tickets, photos or receipts, getting a quick sketch of a famous landmark, tossing in loose bits of local currency--the possibilities are endless.The leather is beautiful and the patina it forms over time and usage is unique to each person. I debated splurging on this or getting a fake one. I'm glad I got this one. I know this will hold up to years of usage. This is definitely an example of getting what you pay for.

I somehow ended up with passport sized inserts, and didn’t have a TN for them, so I got this cover. I wasn’t sure that I’d use it as much as I do! I love this thing. It’s a small companion that is so portable and lightweight compared to my other planners.It holds two inserts for me—three was too many. I thought that would bother me, but it doesn’t. In fact, it’s made me compact my system a bit, which is LIBERATING.I NEVER thought that this purchase would have this strong of an impact on me, but it did. I think it’s my planner peace I’ve been looking for.

I ordered the blue TN in passport size for a gift that would look professional enough for business use. The blue turned out to be very, very dark--almost black. The blue was more expensive, so if I ordered again I'd probably just get the black. The leather is very smooth and supple and looks to be of excellent quality. There is a slight leather smell, very pleasant. This is nicely packaged for gifting in a cloth bag and cardboard folder. I'm pleased with the way it looks.It includes only one insert, the one with blank pages, and it does not include the additional band you need if you want to carry more than one insert in it (lined notebook, calendar planner, etc.) You have to separately purchase a pack of four bands to get just one. There is an extra outside elastic band included which is a light bronze color, but including an inner band would be more helpful. The bulk of the outside band on the back cover didn't seem to be as much of a problem as I'd thought it might be, although of course I didn't try to write over it. For what this costs, it really should include at least one inside band for attaching more insert. I took off one star for the blue's higher price and the lack of the needed inner band. That said, it is a very nice and versatile (if you don't mind making a few additional purchases) leather covered notebook for pocket or purse carry.I think the gift recipient will appreciate the Midori Travelers Notebook brand, but for myself I found the much less expensive ZLYC traveler notebook also very nice and to work just as well for me. Both brands take the same size inserts.

It’s a good product. Fits well in the pocket and easy to carry. However it’s available on certain websites for a lesser price.

I’m a big fan of these travelers notebooks having several in my collection, and this didn’t disappoint. Love that I can add and remove inserts as I want.

Perfect size fits everywhere. I have purchased similar cheaper products and now wish I had not. This feels great! Good paper and o bleed. I have addons and love it. I use it even more than I thought I would. If I buy another similar items it will be the same but larger traveler, otherwise it’s just refills for me. This is a keeper for sure.
