Way too hot
The temperature gauge was wrong. It was set at 38 degrees Celsius. Everything seemed to be ok. I was adding water to chamber as directed. We had live babies visible when candling for a few weeks. One day I was rotating eggs and they felt way too hot. I put a second thermometer into the incubator to check it and it read 44 degrees Celsius. The ducklings my kiddos were trying to hatch all died. If you purchase this, make sure you have a second thermometer to check and make adjustments.

Don’t buy it.
Did not work! Thought it would be a good project for our kids but not one egg hatched. The eggs were fertile but the product did not work.

JUST DON'T!
Heed all the other reviews! At day 18 I had 3 viable still living eggs, at day 20 I started noticing it wasn't keeping a consistent temperature. I recandled the 3 viable eggs they still had movement all still good, day 23 still no hatching and still inconsistent temperatures, ugh I candled again very quickly as recommended by someone who hatches eggs a lot, they have all died. Returning this piece of garbage and buying a good one now.
