Perfect for medicine cases or minor injuries
These are perfect fits for my insulin case and keep it cool for a few hours while out and about. As others have noted, they do not stay cold forever (they are very small) but they are small enough to clear TSA with a minimum of hassles. If you need something to keep your lunch cold, get a bigger ice pack. If you need something for your insulin case or to ice a minor injury, this is for you.

They kept my insulin cool for many hours
They work well. You freeze, use, and pop them back in the freezer. They kept my insulin cool for many hours. Just remember to lay them completely flat before freezing. If they get bent then frozen, they aren't going to fit well in their pouches. When replacing partially frozen pouches into the freezer, just smooth them out flat, freeze soon they are ready to go.

Substantially thick leak-proof plastic. It's a set of 2 ice packs. What else is there to say?
Bought the 2-pack ice packs concurrently with the Goldwheat Portable Insulin Cooler Bag Diabetic Organizer Medical Travel Cooler (Light Blue) fits perfectly, flexible, thin enough to not crush my insulin injector pens. Plastic is thick and tough, confident it is leak proof for the long haul. I wish I didn't have to purchase these separately for my insulin cooler. About the size of a standard, one-time use "hand warmer" packet.

Not as shown - UPDATED went from 2 to 4 stars
FIRST REVIEW: What I received did not look anything at all like what is shown here. And I only got 1 gel pack, not 2 like stated. I haven't used it yet, so I can't review it, but I don't know that it would do me any good since I didn't get what was shown here anyways. When I made a complaint to Amazon, the only thing they would do for me is give me a partial refund. A refund is not what I wanted though. I wanted TWO gel packs. They said they couldn't send me just one in a partial replacement, and they did not give me a satisfactory answer when I asked why they couldn't send me 1 when they just did. They said it had something to do with it coming from a different merchant. And, if I want a 2nd gel pack, I will have to create a new order, which means a partial refund is useless. I put in an overall order to meet the free shipping minimum. Ordering another gel pack by itself means I will have to pay shipping on it, unless I come up with another $10-15 to get free shipping. What I did get seems to be made with durable plastic, so hopefully it will last a while without leaking. But I would be careful ordering this item because if you think you're going to get what's in the photo and description you may be disappointed like me.UPDATED REVIEW: I took a chance and ordered this item again. This time it came as shown. I got two packs just like the photo. They really stay cold a very long time, even where I live in the Arizona desert. My daughter put one in an uninsulated bag with a soda in her backpack, and 5 hours later it was still partially frozen. The packaging of the pack seems good enough, but since I've only had these about a week I can't comment on how durable they are or how well they hold up after a lot of use. I hope the first time I ordered these and got the wrong thing was just a glitch and everyone will get what they order.

Great, but didn't last long.
These fit an insulin pouch I bought my son. They worked for a two week trip fine. The next trip these were leaking. I did reorder though new ones, same brand because they are the ones that fit and work with a fantastic case. I find them to be very high priced for such a short life span. But I would order again because the size is perfect and also perfect for TSA checks.

TSA compliant
It is literally what it says it is. Two packs of TSA compliant ice packs. I bought these for a trip to Hawaii because we wouldn't have time on our layover to eat anything during the 6 hour flight. I packed some sandwiches and baby carrots. I froze them for about two weeks and packed them JUST before we left for the airport, because I knew the only thing I had to do was get through security once.TSA literally says this "Frozen liquid items are allowed through the checkpoint as long as they are frozen solid when presented for screening. If frozen liquid items are partially melted, slushy, or have any liquid at the bottom of the container, they must meet 3-1-1 liquids requirements. As long as you freeze them solid, and they are solid when they go through security you should be golden.I packed the sandwiches in giant ziplock bags and just took them out so the ice packs would be fully visible during screening. Went through with no problems whatsoever. If you go through and yours are frozen solid but the TSA agents don't let them through you should show them their own website with the exact guidelines I put above if you google "TSA ice packs".

Airport Clearance Ice Gel Packs
I have no trouble taking these through airport security. I've used them on six different trips - never a problem with security. I keep my medicial pen inside the small carring case that came with the pen, with one gel pack on each side. I state that I have a medical devise as I approach security, they send me to a special screening line (which so far has been an express line). I put my case in the bin next to my shoes and zero problems. They keep cold for several hours. Kept my medicine cold on cross-country flights without any problems.
