I had never used anything except the standard cap thimble, so was not sure how I would like these. My hope was that I could adjust them to fit the finger I wanted and they would not keep falling off like the normal thimbles do. I was pleased at how well these little guys work, and they do stay put. The way that I needlepoint I need a thimble that will sit sideways on my ring finger, which is a somewhqt awkward position for a thimble that is so obviously shaped oval. However I was able to adjust it, and have gotten used to the off center fit. Now I would not go without it on! My only complaint is occasionally the threads get caught in the adjustable overlap part and I have to stop and move them out.

I didn't like the feel o my finger and didn't like it.

I ordered a medium based on other reviews saying these ran very small, but mine fits perfectly on my thumb and is much too large on my first finger. I couldn't adjust it to be small enough. I am ordering another set in size small to try on my finger. It does feel sturdy and I'm happy with the design, just a little difficult to choose the right size.

I have very small fingers and these are sizeable. I have them bent as small as they can go. Fit nicely. Does it's job.

I enjoy cross stitch and needed a new thimble. I have never used this type before. Lightweight and does not cause my finger to sweat, like a "normal " thimbal. Great purchase, will do again as needed.

I got tired of stabbing my own finger when I was attempting to tuck my strands under so I started to look for something to protect my skin. These fit the bill perfectly.

It's adjustable, where most thimbles are too small, then it has a lip and dimples to catch the end of the needle to help push through heavier material. Great simple tool that works so well

These thimbles are a great idea but not practical. They didn't fit my finger well no matter how I adjusted them and left an opening between the top of the thimble and my finger big enough for the needle to slip through, which it did many times.

Very happy with this purchase! Exactly what it shows on photos, but be mindful for the sizes. I took small since previous reviews talked about so I took small, but it's quite tight for my thumb. You should still go for the good size for your index though. There is little room to expend the thingy like on the phot but not so much. And it cannot go smaller. My index is comfortable and it stay put without feeling compress!

It was a bit big, but all I needed to do was squeeze them to fit, metal so it wasn't that hard to do. Little difficult pushing a pin, slipped off a few times.

I am not a great sewer but I do my own repairs. I have large hands. This thimble is tough and adjustable.

They are sturdy, a little on the small size I think but they still do what they are supposed to.
