this is a wonderful book and makes me wish there was more than two in the series. Carly mom has become new chef about the Stardust circus train and as Carly gets to know 8 year old circus family proformers Bella, Marlo and Allie the more she wants to join the Stardust girls in the circus closing parade. trying to find the perfect circus task your good isn't always easy. Unless that skill is something you've loved all your life and didn't know it could be a circus thing.

I love these Branches book. My Kindergartener is highly interested in them. This one was too hard for her to read alone, but it would be perfect for a first grader who is a good reader or a second grader. I read it to my daughter before bed, and we both enjoyed it.

Girl moves to new place, sets her heart on becoming one of the cool kids. First by imitating the cool kids, then eventually by finding her own path. It's okay but never delves any deeper than the surface. If you're trying to encourage a little girl to transition into chapter books and she's into gymnastics or other circusy activities, this is a good pick. But I can't imagine it will be reread very often.

It was great. It is a fun story that also teaches a good lesson about not giving up. The characters seem real as well as their dialogue. The pictures and the descriptions help form the storyline. And the story's setting (life aboard a circus train) makes for a unique backdrop of a timeless story about friendship and pursuing your dreams. I encourage anyone with young girls to introduce this series to them.

My first grader likes this book. As with most Branches books, the text does not make her feel overwhelmed and the full color pictures keep her engaged from page to page.

This is my 7 year old nieces very favorite book. She is so proud of herself for being able to read a "chapter book". If the little reader in your life loved Princess in Black, this one is going to provide the same level of reading satisfaction as both have pictures to help new chapter book readers. =)

my 7 year old girl loves this series. cute books. 1-2nd grade reading level. Its not a beginner reader chapter book slightly more advanced. my daughter reads a bit higher level but these were fun, easier to read and refreshing.

The joy on my nieces faces when reading these to them. The girls range in age from 3 - 5
