XYZ - Andy Summers LP

This was purchased to replace a compct cassette version I had bought many years ago. I bought the cassette version at a woolworth store in bargain bucket section!! I played the cassette in my car at the time and it grew on me very quickly, to the point where my 2 children(girls), kept on asking me to play it again. I am glad I purchased this as it brings back memories of a special time in my life and now my (girls) can do the same again. I like Andy Summers and feel he is underrated as a guitarist/songwriter. Thanks to Zoverstocks for enriching my life again.

Great Record by Andy Summers!!! In this record there are some great songs!!!:)Andy is a great guitarman..., in and outside The Police!!!

When i first bought this nearly 20 years ago it took a few listens to appreciate the true value.Having purchased it again, i have several tracks on my MP3 player, which are fantastic tracks. The vocals are not fantastic but i have heard much worse!Pay particular attention to the tracks, Love is the strangest way, The Change, Scary Voices, Hold Me, and the instumental title track. Some of these would have made good Police tracks had they carried on through the 80's.A must for any true Police fan.

This is the first solo album by AS. It is an interesting work which reflects the state of mind of the author after the dissolution of the Police.
