at age 15 - Amy Lee of New Jersey began posting self-made videos of her covering artists such as Whitney Houston and Beyonce - evidently producers didn't notice - and in 2010 she headed to her ancestral home Korea - home of KPop - and within a couple years - made her solo debut - and quickly soared to prominence and popularity as Ailee - a mashup of her first and last namecheck out her teenage videos on youtube and you'll see why - she had the voice to match if not exceed those divas of the American music scene - but evidently she had to go to Asia to find people who didn't think being Asian was a handicap in the entertainment marketat the start - she had supporting roles here and there in music and in a tv drama - Then she made an auspicious debut on a TV contest in Sept 2011 which she won - she soon debuted as a solo artist with a successful song called "Heaven" - and began making appearances on a TV program called "Immortal Song 2" - where singers can be heard in their natural glory - and that's where this young lady shinesher voice is not only powerful and totally under her command - but it's pretty - and she is utterly charismatic - it's no exaggeration to claim that she's the most talented american injection into KPop - i doubt any other american KPop idol would disagree - none shouldA's DOLL'S HOUSE is Ailees second mini-album (the first is INVITATION which can be found at Amazon) - this one contains her rocking mega hit "U&I" - but all the songs give listeners a chance to experience and enjoy the full range of her vocal talentoh - did i mention that she's really cute - but who cares---at the beginning of 2017 - Ailee released an english language song under the name A.leean called "Fall Back" - you can stream it or download an MP3 for $1.00 - there's animated video at YouTube if you need to decide before you support her by buying the song
