Great product
These bulbs give off a bright white light, they almost appear blue when compared to normal yellow bulbs. They're nice and bright, and even after hours of use they barely get warm to the touch. Have 2 in my bathroom as well. They help with seeing the real colors of makeup and items you're working with. That being said, in my package of 6 bulbs 1 bulb came broken. Will buy again as my old bulbs burn out.1st pic- 3 in my bedroom, light is bright white.2nd pic- 2 in restroom, you can see that they're whiter than the cfl bulbs which are also 5000k 60 watt lightbulbs.

Bright, but short lived...
I liked these at first, but I expected them to last for years with normal use. They really disappointed me in this respect. One bulb went out within a month, another a month or so later, and the remainder were getting dimmer by the day by then. I got tired of squinting, bought some Philips bulbs at my local grocery store, and replaced them all. So basically these Vemotix ended up being quite useless to me. I though that paying more for LED bulbs was supposed to pay off in the longer run, but there was no longer run.. What seemed like a reasonable purchase at first didn't stay that way for very long. Quite disappointing. I had to get back online and change my "average" rating to a much lower assessment. I didn't ask for a refund. Don't know if that would have done any good anyway. So simply my word of caution - if you are looking for longevity in a bulb, these don't seem to get the job done. I mean, when the ALL failed.. well.. that told the whole story.

Speak to me!
The light bulbs are fine...at least 5 of them are. One is broken, and I cannot seem to figure out how to get a replacement. I don't want to return the whole box. Everything's so easy with Amazon, until you have a need to speak to someone. What's up with THAT?

bright and sexy
these lightbulbs are superb. i purchased them to install in my patio and some lamps inside the house. i used to have a couple of lights in the house that made a humming/buzzing electrical sound with regular bulbs. after replacing them with these new LEDs the buzzing noise is gone. i purchased the daylight bright bulbs and yes these babies are bright. i like ample lighting without the yellowish tint to it so these are perfect for me. if you want something a little more dim i would go with a less bright bulb. only time will tell how much $ it will save my electricity bill later on. the bulbs are obviously more expensive than regular ones but to me i want to go as green as possible. As a side note i have a shop with 11x 4ft long LED lights to light up the entire place and the light for that purpose is amazing. also my electrical bill is very low so ive been pleased and will more than likely replace all of my bulbs in the house to LED as well.

Bulbs started dying 9 months in
So far so good - I've had the bulbs for 1 month now, with daily use of ~ 6 hrs / day. Haven't run into any problems with the bulbs - no buzzing sounds like other light bulbs, and little to no heat generated. Also nice and bright. Will update if the bulbs die prematurely.--UPDATE-- Sept.9, 2016 (9 months after purchase)My light bulbs have started flickering - they haven't died completely, but one by one, they're starting to flicker like a strobe light; unfortunately I'm not looking for a rave party in my bedroom. So far I've lost 2 light bulbs to the flickering, and have had to replace them. I didn't expect them to start malfunctioning on me this quickly - I've taken 2 stars off as a result. Will continue to update--UPDATE #2-- Sept.11, 2016 (2 days after last update -- 9 months after purchase)Another light bulb started blinking and I can't get any of these bulbs to stop blinking, even in different light sockets. So the running count is 3 bulbs (half the pack) that are currently unusable. Will continue to update

Not worth it; burned out before 18 months, let alone years
This page boasts:"buy your TCP LED bulbs NOW and you won't have to change your bulbs again for the next 18 years minimum. LED bulbs last extremely long, sometimes even up to 25 years when used properly, saving you a lot of money and trouble."I bought these in June 2015 and installed them in my kitchen, where we use the lights maybe 3 hours a day, max. It is now September 2016, and one of the bulbs has burned out.The main reason why I bought these was because, even though they were more expensive, they would last longer than other bulbs. As I found out, that's not true. I want to know if the company is going to stand behind its "guarantee" that its bulbs will last "18 years minimum." It's not like I'm too cheap to pay for another lightbulb--it's the principle of the thing, and the fact that LEDs aren't like old incandescent, which are pretty much interchangeable. Now I've got to find a bulb with the exact same lumens and in the exact same shade as the other five (I used these in ceiling can lights). If I knew one of these would have burned out after just over a year, I never would have bought them. I don't give many 1 star reviews, but I just have to here, since the product did not work as advertised.

Not worth the price!
ok so I ordered these on Sept 1, 2016 and recieved them on Sept. 6, 2016.They came in a very timely manner, were packaged nice and all was good.I installed 3 of the 6 bulbs to see how they worked and how we liked them, ( they are a very nice crisp white light and very bright), with the intention of buying more if they worked out.By 11/5/2016 the first bulb had died, and I contacted Vemotix about it and after exchanging a few emails the bottom line is they won't replace just 1 bulb, the best they will do is a refund for just 1 bulb, so I decided to wait and see, well here it is Nov. 11 2016 and another bulb has died.So already knowing they won't replace the bulbs I will just wait and see how long the others last and then decide what I want them to do about it, in the mean time I will NOT be buying any more of these lights, from what I see they will all be dead LONG before the 18 yr lifespan is over!I recommend you find a differnt brand,Look for an update to this review as the rest of them start to fail prematurely.
