Edison Style LED Lightbulb

I've been waiting for an LED replacement for the Edison bulb that doesn't look like a circuit board encased in glass, and this is it! Tested next to my traditional bulbs, and it stacks up very well. Both off and on, it looks almost indistinguishable from an incandescent. It even works with the dimmer switches I have (which were, according to the product description, not compatible with LEDs).In terms of light, I'd say it's VERY close to a 65-watt Edison bulb, in color and intensity. Maybe a hair brighter and whiter.As for energy consumption, according to my Kill-A-Watt, it uses ONLY about 4.6% (less than 1/20th!) of the energy of the 65-watt bulb I had on hand. Wow.

Much brighter than I thought it would be and looks just like the original. Our home is now 100% LED lit including all outdoor lighting. Very happy with this purchase.

ugh, they shouldn't make edison style bulbs without the amber coating. you can't look directly at this bulb even dimmed. it's way too bright and way too 'cool' at 2200k it still needs to be warmer. looks like a chinese made cheap LED, not at all vintage in style

The light blub itself is a well made light however the light that it gives off is quite yellow in color and was dimmer than expected.
