Chipped, feel cheated and angry
My partner was gone in India and just came back today. I had ordered this striker after considering all the options very carefully and was pretty excited about it, given the reputation of this brand and the general reviews. I opened it and inspected and as you can see from the attached images, it has got a very small chip on the bottom side. It is really small (the chip) but it's an eyesore. Doesn't instil a lot of confidence about the quality-control of the supplier either, I mean, if it can be chipped before even a single shot has been played, who knows what might happen next? will it crack? maybe, maybe not. But no one likes to pay that amount of money and be sent a chipped striker. There are serious quality control issues with this supplier, whoever it is. The worst part is, that it is now in Ireland and it will be a while before anyone from the family will visit India again, so, we would be out of the return date deadline. I am going to apply a refund regardless, let's see. If this company has any scruples, they should be refunding the payment or atleast some part of it . I can provide travel documents to prove that it has just arrived to me and I have lost no time in flagging the issue, although, I admit that my partner should perhaps have examined it upon receipt, but she is not into carrom to be keen enough to open up a striker and check it for defects.
