Started out rocky, but improved with use
As other reviews have stated, the instructions are pretty minimal for putting the unit together and adjusting the cutting height. I've only mowed once with it so far. I cut at the same height that I'd been cutting with a manual reel mower (and was careful not to try to cut too much at one time). Each of the reels bound up multiple times, and had to be cleared manually. However, it seemed to do better towards the end of the job as it broke in. I've made some adjustments to the set up, including lowering the hitch on the tractor. We'll see how it does the second time out in a few days.Update: After making the adjustments to the settings, the mower performed much better. Small pieces of mulch can still cause a reel to jam, but that is to be expected. The mower worked essentially flawlessly and provided a nice uniform cut.

Once properly adjusted the mower cut to the best of its ability
Once properly adjusted the mower cut to the best of its ability. I like my lawn at 3 inches which turns out is to high and i believe its to thick. Multiple mows to get lawn cut but to its credit once you get your lawn to 1 1/2 - 2 inches it does the job. Had to mow the lawn twice a week to make sure lawn didnt get to tall. After 3 weeks and 6 mows of 1 1/2 acres realize not right for my yard, sending back which turns out is rather expensive. After paying postage to and from, over $300 mistake. Make sure your cutting low 1 1/2-2 inch max and thin grass

Hard to assemble
Because it's winter in NC, it's too early to tell if this mower will give the results I expected when I bought it. But it is difficult to assemble. Instructions are vague, and the pictures are worthless. I pretty much had to take the whole thing apart and put it back together for the instructions to make sense. To adjust the cutting height, you have to virtualy take the thing apart. Getting the rollers to roll takes considerably more grease and WD-40 than the instructions imply. I remain optimistic that the mower will cut as expected when spring rolls arouns and I can get this thing onto the grass. But I am disappointed at the difficulty to assemble this thing and get it rolling.

does a good job
It does speed time mowing. It normally takes me 4 hours to mow 3 acres. With this attached behind my mower it takes just a little over 2 hours. Wish that I had bought the 5 or 7 reel now. I will be looking into attachments in the near future. It is very simple to assemble. My wife and I put it together in about 15 minutes. It does not mow tall grass well because it is a finishing mower. Overall it does an acceptable job. I would recommend it.
