Exam AZ-103 Study & Lab Guide: Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator

I was surprised at the over size of the book. It's a true 8x11 book with very large print. I like the size and print but hate the "perfect" binding which will not lay flat. The author and Amazon need to offer a student binding ( thin plastic spiral ring) like I used to do for text books the book will lay flat while the student is trying to do the labs. THe information is solid and given the moving target that Azure is, pretty up to date. The book is printed by Kindle so I'm guessing it's a POD ( print on demand) which means the author has a good chance at keeping things updated at a reasonable rate. I wish the book at was actually offered at an E version on the kindle again, for the ability to keep things open and flat while working the labs.

This was ok and reasonably priced. This will NOT allow you to get certified by itself. It is a lab manual, there is very little theoretical knowledge. I noticed some mistakes and a ton of grammatical and spelling mistakes, personally this doesn't bother me all that much but it is a fact. 3 stars as a lab manual, minus 1 star as it isn't much of a study guide and minus 1 star for editing issues.

This book is purely hands-on labs, it doesn't contain much readings. Also, it covers more than the 5 domains/chapters exam AZ-103 required. It has 25 chapters. Even though I am little bit disappointed, I will give 4 stars, because the hands-on labs are very helpful, specially if you have foundational knowledge.I bought Microsoft Press AZ 103 from Pearson for approx. $26.00, its really good and up to the point.

The only reason I gave four stars is to let everyone know this is a real review. The book is through and comprehensive. I really like all of the exercises that included detailed screen shots. The exercises address several different scenarios for each subject.

The book seems a good lab book, however right on the first chapter I got into a problem regarding the site needed to continue the exercises. The site no longer is available and after contacting the author on many ways (email, his web site posts, web site contact) I received no answer. I can't wait for ever to get a replay because Azure $200 credit or practicing expires in 14 days. I returned this book as inaccurate. Got the book from Michael Washam instead

A wonderful book to learn end-to-end of Azure Administration

Very excellent hands-on labs and study material..

Was etwas stört ist, dass der Text voller Fehler ist. Dies ist dem Umstand geschuldet dass der Autor kein englischer Muttersprachler ist sondern aus Indien stammt.Manche Dinge funktionieren auch nicht wie der Autor schreibt.Trotzdem ist das Buch eine Hilfe zur Prüfungsvorbereitungen jedoch nicht alleine ausreichend dafür.Auf jeden Fall sollte ein Practice Test erworben werden um zu prüfen inwieweit die Kenntnisse ausreichen um die Prüfung zu bestehen.

El libro es magnífico para aprender ya que consta de laboratorios prácticos y no solo teoria.
