this book is wonderful to look at and more fun to try and master. I have to admit that this book (in my experience) is for people who have already mastered the basics of sugar flowers, I had to go back and purchase some more basic books before attempting this book again. If you dont have some experience it can be aggrivating and frustrating. but once you master the basics this book is a pure delight and will challenge you to produce flowers so realistic you could fool a florist.

This was the third book I bought by Alan. This one has the flowers I used in a national competition. Without it, I would not have know how to do it. With the step by step instruction and photos, I created many of the flowers and got rave reviews from my judges. Everyone from beginner to master can benefit from Alan's books. Well worth the money.

All Alan Dunn's book are beautiful and this is no exception. Well worth the price for the excellent instruction and lovely photographs. I don't think a person could go wrong with any of his books.

Excelent book 👍 fast delivery

This is a beautiful coffee table book even if you don't ever try to make the flowers. Of course, like most sugar flower making books, this one makes it look easy, but it is extremely difficult and time-consuming even if you have all the tools and have an artistic bent. I bought all the stuff and it just sits in a drawer since the learning curve is great... and I can do almost anything artistic or creative.

best book i have seen in a while

Awful book as many of other Alan Dunns' and it's very disappointing as you'd expect more from a master: some of the flowers doesn't have clear instructions and no pics to show how to do what he tried to describe, very difficult to understand. Btw book arrived in different cover than on pic but perhaps it has the same content, but overall the book is not what meant to be. Even my other sugarcraft friends couldn't understand when we read it.

If you like exotic flowers and making sugercraft flowers then this is a very good book. I bought it specifically for the paphiopedilum orchid as I liked the shape of the template, and the book also has some other useful exotic templates in as well. Cutters I had seen where not quite the right shape, although the template does seem on the large size once enlarged as instructed. However one could make it smaller after all paphiopdeilums can come in different sizes. Half way through makeing the orchid.

If you are like me that thinking this was a new book from Alan Dunn that was released today 05/04/2019 then you will be wrong. It is a old book that was released in 2000. But Amazon are making out it's a new book. Luckily I haven't got this book and it is good but the fact I've been cheated puts a damper on getting this book
