Spartan Brands Open Top Mesh Wrap with Velcro Closure Black

This mesh wrap is the best one available on the market these days. Wraps made of soft, flexible, fabric mesh used to be easy to find; but now most of the ones available in stores are made of a hard, plastic, less flexible material. I find the hard ones very unpleasant to wear and question whether having something so hard on your hair is healthy.I've bought a number of this softer type, one for sale here, in the past. They are my fave. My only complaint is they don't last very long, but I often use these twice a day to tame the edges of my natural, AA 4a-c hair. I also hand and machine wash them. What I am saying is I am pretty hard on these. They start stretching out of shape after a few months and get to a point of requiring a clip of some sort to secure them after several months. I also seem to lose these, kind of like the mystery of socks, go figure. Anyway, these are a must have. I admit that the s&h Sally's quotes is offensive, but because I order 3-4 at a time, it is worth it. If you order more than one from other sites, they will tack on s&h for each, so Sally's comes out way cheaper if you order more than one.

This is presumably for people who are trying to preserve straightened hair and/or prevent breakage while sleeping all while wearing something breathable like mesh as to not perspire at night. Well, they made a mistake with the closure design as it closes with Velcro. Can anything be worse for your hair in terms of breakage than having a big Velcro strip near your edges? When I have used it I slept with the closure at back and without fail, no matter how careful I was, my hair was always snagged in the morning. I work hard for healthy hair and although the breathable mesh is nice, it's kind of moot if you have no hair left to protect.

The mesh wrap is very nice but my head is a bit too big for it?! I have very short hair and its still tight. I did not see a size for it on the package. It is still wearable for me but just tight. That may be the way it is supposed to be worn. I ordered mine from best price beauty supply and it got to me within 2 days. All in all I am pleased with it but I wish they had maybe a slightly bigger size or if it could be adjustable. This type of mesh wrap is great for wrapping your hair. It holds it in place very nice and I am African American if that helps any.

Not as big as large as I expected it. You definetely need two to cover all the hair. So considering shipping price I should have just gone to local store to get it. Bad weather is the only reason I ordered this online.

I love this mesh wrap. It doesn't look like much but it does the job very well. Its made of soft, lightweight, breathable material yet it holds my hair very securely at night. I was concerned about the velcro closure and happy to say it has not pulled my hair out. My hair is very thick and sometimes I will use two of these wraps to keep my hair smooth and in place. Excellent product.

Works well, got mine in black; came as expected; but happens to be a little big on me..although I have kinda a small head....

DON'T EVER ORDER FROM SALLY BEAUTY SUPPLY.. I CANCELED MY ORDER RIGHT AFTER I PLACED IT NOT NOTICING THAT THE S/H IS MORE THAN THE PRODUCT AND COULD GET IT SOME WHERE ELSE CHEAPER.. THEY STILL SENT OUT THE ORDER AFTER NUMEROUS EMAILSTHEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!!

It fits pretty small on my head.
