Q: The listing states that this watch features atoic time keeping - is that correct ?

No it does not have atomic time keeping. That is a mistake on the listing

Q: Would I be able to replace the leather band with stainless steel bands?

Yep... I did this. I liked the blue leather band but wanted to try stainless with this watch after wearing it for 3 months. First I bought a stainless band on Amazon but was not happy with the quality so I called Citizen and bought the real band for the stainless model and swapped it myself. Citizen even included the curved end pieces for the stainless band (The real Citizen stainless band is $100 with shipping but it's a high quality band.)

Q: Battery required if yes is it included ?

They have rechargeable cells that are supposed to last a long time. My last Eco-Drive only ran a few years before the power cell had to be replaced. YMMV.

Q: I “gently “ wore my watch for one day. now the face of my watch is covered with scratches. what do i do? has this happened to anyone else?
