Could this oil be used on a quartz clock that quit chiming?

Can this be used like regular clock oil in clocks with a reservoir?

I don’t know of a clock that has an oil reservoir, but I have been using liquid bearings Liquid Bearings for several years to oil all bearing points on windup clocks. I find it to be superior to all other clock oils I have used through the years.

Except for the cute applicator, I am wondering why this oil is better than synthetic motor like Valvoline or Mobil at $6 a quart?
