HyperDrive 6-in-1 USB-C Hub

Good product.... great design but I am using uag case so with the case on it will not fit as shown in picture anyway you can still use it with cord supplied along with it .... but it looks a bit odd with usb hub dangling by the side .. gets a bit hotter pretty quickly... could have given 5 stars if price range was around rs5000 to 6000. I suggest if you’re using iPad Pro case to go for other hyperdrive usb c drive with more ports and a bit cheaper too...

This is a gadget who will allow your IPAD pro to connect with your existing non type c gadgets. All ports are working fine.Need to wait for IPAD OS13 to see its full utilization. At present due to OS limitation, one can not use its full potential.Upside:1. Strong build quality2. have both the option with sceen-gaurd and without screen-gaurd.3. we can use all the ports simultaneously.Downside at present:1. With this attached with your IPAD, charging will be vary slow.2. price should have been around 5k3. heating little bit.conclusion: in my opinion this is very useful, especially considering our existing non type c -gadget. With the up coming i pad os 13, this will definitely enhance the user’s working experience with ipad.

7.4K for a hub was kind of justified back when this was a novelty, one of a kind item. But now there are exact same product available under 4K. You pay more for the Hyperdrive 6-in-1 because they include screwdriver, extension cable etc.I thought the electronics inside will be of better quality but NOPE! The moment I plugged in my headphones in the 3.5mm jack, I was greeted with a terrible hissing noise, indicative of cheap chinese circuitry.My main reason for buying this was being able to keep my tab charging while using some good wired earphones. But now it seems, I'm back to square one: can't get (good) audio while charging. The universe is really conspiring to get me into crappy bluetooth audio! I refuse!TLDR; save your money, buy some of the other USB C hubs under 4K because you are not paying more for quality components just brand name and import duties!

It heats up while using, which creates a doubt in my mind if it will have any effect on the usb or memory card. Although build quality is great, but I have to leave it dangling because it doesn’t fit properly with protective case on my iPad. Although I feel that it is a bit costly, but this is the only usb hub with all kinds of ports that I needed. I am pretty satisfied that key board, sound card, mic, earphones, hdmi etc work perfectly fine. I feel that there should have been one more usb slot as mouse support is coming to iPad, then there will be problem connecting both mouse and keyboard together. For now I feel satisfied as it has most ports available for my needs.

Product is genuine and quality wise it's too gud and they provide different types of rubber case for it to fit and they also provide a wired rubber case and it's useful when u are using iPad with a case on it ..and it heats up while using and the only plus point of this product is all the products will work properly and the 3.5mm jack also works fine and the quality of audio won't change even while charging ..and if u compare with other type c hub products available in online this is the best other items won't even work ...in next gen of this item they should try to avoid the heating issues

I bought this with high hopes. But it isn't the magic device I thought it would be. It doesn't support my 3.5mm Sonny headphones. It's jack is fat and clumsy. If you have your iPad in case then all the best connecting this baby to your iPad without taking of the case. I'm using Bluetooth headphones and a type C to USB connector which came in my Samsung note 8 box. This way it's more convenient. This device is as good as unusable because of it fat jack and poor 3.5mm jack support.

The product is really great,have been using it for about 1 month now.It is well designed and matches the colour perfectly of my iPad Pro.All ports work well.I only feel that the screws are very tiny and non magnetic with the screwdriver.So the future product must have handlable screws and preferably magnetic for ease of application.

I bought this adapter to do live streaming from my iPad 11 pro through elgato while charging my device and it works like a charm. The only problem is you can’t use the 3.5mm port while using HDMI. Sound can pass through only one media output port at a time.

Very disappointed by the build quality of a £90 product. Biggest issue is the USB 3 port alignment. It isn’t straight in the hub housing and makes the whole device look and feel cheap. It also makes inserting usb cables quite difficult. I wouldn’t do this with the device attached to the iPad Pro in fear of damaging the usb c connection. Other issue is it doesn’t connect well with the Logitech Folio slim pro case. Despite stating it works well with cases fitted connection to the iPad isn’t easy and requires a firm push to seat the hub.

The USB-C does not fully locate on either of my iPad Pro, there is a gap between the HyperDrive and the body of the iPad this means the hyper drive rocks on the usb-c port on the iPad and will potentially damage a very expensive iPad, I emailed HyperDrive and they have said they have not heard of this issue return it. Either the USB-C plug is too long or the plastic support is two thin thus allowing this gap and the ability to rock and damage your iPad. It’s shame as I was looking forward to using this item and aside from this issue it appears well made 😟

Voll froher Erwartung, erhielt ich am 30.08.2019, den HUB. Der HUB war für mein IPad Pro 2018 vorgesehen. Der Hub wurde angeschlossen, die blaue Diode leuchtete. Anschließend die Speicherkarte ausprobiert, Karte wurde einmal erkannt, dann nicht mehr. Ladekabel wurde angeschlossen, kein Ladestrom wurde an das Pad weitergeleitet. HDMI funktionierte ebenfalls nicht. Kurzum, dieser Hub war ein Totalausfall. Ich frage mich ob hier überhaupt Qualitätskontrollen stattfinden. Jedenfalls bin ich sehr enttäuscht von diesem Hub. Kurzum, am 02.09.2019, wurde das Teil zurückgeschickt. Habe jetzt einen Hub von Satechi gekauft.Nachtrag: Am 7.12.2019 erhielt ich eine E-Mail des Verkäufers. Er bot mir einen 30.00,- Euro Amazon Gutschein an, wenn ich meine schlechte Bewertung zurücknehme, Mache ich natürlich nicht.

This is another hub like the anker that had HDMI output issue. Other similar cable-less plug hubs had no problem with the same cable/monitor etc. Although the USB-C fits ok, it seems I need to fit it reversed so the HDMI is facing down. This would cause issues with some HDMI cables.Why is this the most expensive?! Happily returned.

This enables you to add USB drive support, HDMI video output and SD card and other memory card support direct to the ipad pro. I also like that you can have it attached by a flying lead or connected direct into the USB C port and as it has its own USB C port you can still charge it whilst using the HyperDrive.Only very minor negative is I cant have the HyperDrive connected directly with the case I am using but I can still use the flying lead to connect it
