It was ok...
My wife bought this to assist home schooling grandkids. It was a small and a bit scratched up out of the box, but did meet her needs. The globe is small but so are the grandkids; the former will always be true, the latter gets bigger ever day.

The map is crisp and well detailed. The base is too light and is cheap black plastic. My biggest problem is that it does not rotate smoothly. I have to hold the base in one hand and apply my finger hard to get it to rotate.

Scratched, faded, overpriced.
Unsightly rings are scratched around the surface of the Arctic and Antarctic regions. Color of print appears faded, not nearly as crisp and saturated as in the photo. Feels cheap and overpriced.

Good nightlight
Nice globe. We use it on our 6 year old son's dresser. It acts as a good nightlight in addition to a fairly detailed world map.
