All good - seems high-quality, no problems
I haven't supplemented zinc by itself before, so can't compare to other brands, but this seems like a pretty clean product and the capsules are tiny - very easy to take. In the jar, they have a strange smell; powdery, milky, sweet. When I pour a few out, though, they don't have any odor.I've been taking this for about a week, one capsule with my other meds and supplements in the middle of breakfast. (Important - since zinc can make you nauseous if you take it on an empty stomach, or if you are taking the wrong form for your needs.) I haven't had any problems with nausea or other side effects, and I do believe it's making a difference in the way I feel.I picked this product because it has OptiZinc without copper, and in a lower dosage than most. I didn't want to start out too strong in case of copper detoxing effects. I'm happy with this brand.Update: I finished this product. Eventually, I was taking two a day without any problems; I found I was a little more clear-headed while on it, which is a big deal for me. I haven't bought more though, because I decided to up my dose and also supplement other minerals; I've been taking Thorne Research - Pic-Mins - Trace Mineral Complex with Seven Essential Trace Minerals - 90 Capsules and a 50mg zinc tablet I bought on sale. I had a very good experience with this product, though, and will consider buying from them in the future.

Easy on the tummy--doesn't flare stomach acid! Good to combat copper overload.
First zinc supplement that my stomach can tolerate. Acid reflux always flared BADLY whenever I took other forms of zinc....and I think I've tried them all over the course of 20+ years. I actually had to quit trying to supplement w zinc for the last 3-4 yrs.So when I read some other reviews on OptiZinc that said it was tolerated well by them, I gave it a shot.Been on it 3+ months now, and it has helped my skin clear up, and I've had zero acid flare up.My copper to zinc ratio was extremely lopsided (copper sky-high), so supplementation was badly needed.I don't have empirical proof or lab results yet, but I'm sticking with this for the near future!Only thing to watch is the dosage.... I didn't quite want 30mg, so I'm only taking it every other day, and over time will probably drop the frequency even more.

Seems to make me more nauseous than others
It’s hard to find L version of Optizinc with no copper as well. I usually use the Vitacost brand but wanted to give this one a try. Seems to do the job, but for some reason this one gives me nausea. I’m no beginner to zinc supplements so I know it’s this brand. Going back to Vitacost L-Optizinc

Will order again
Has really helped with my acne, in combination with a probiotic and vitamin E. The pills are super small & easy to swallow. It is important you take this pill with food, or you will get nauseous.

Better form of zinc. Unfortunately NutaBio stopped carrying this product. What a mistake!
