UPMSX Perantucci Tuba Mouthpieces Pt50

When my son went off to college this year, we needed to return his school-owned Perantucci and purchase another mouthpiece. We reached out to several people including tuba professors, a professional performer, teachers, and an instrument salesman. Perantucci appeared on almost every recommender's short list. Since he had already played a Perantucci, he moved to this model, and he really loves it. In a large high school, the first chair tuba has the privilege of using the "best" mouthpiece, so the new section leader was also thrilled to get his turn with the school's Perantucci. The new mouthpiece arrived quickly!

The Perantucci PT 50 Tuba Mouthpiece I ordered on Amazon.com arrived earlier than I expected and in time for me to use it for my orchestra rehearsal. The mouthpiece lived up to my expectations and more. I specifically was interested in expanding the resonance of low notes with a stronger sound but was pleasantly surprised at the ease and resonance of my extreme upper register. i like very nutty

This mouthpiece has a very dark sound and a good ring, but it's very light, which causes it to some of the richness. Besides this the rim is very round, making slurs and articulation require a little more effort. Beautiful sounding mouthpiece but a little difficult to maneuver at times.

The product was in excellent shape and my son was very happy when he recieved it. He has 3 years left in the band but I forsee him using it long after that in college. Thanks for meeting our expectations with this product.
