Desperados Paperback – April 2, 2014

I love MC books, but this one was a bit strange to me. I can't get into most of it without giving away spoilers, which I refuse to do, but I'll try. There seemed to be a majority of the club that was against the president and vp, their antiquated rule regarding the new ol' ladies, most of what they had the club into, but no one did anything to stop them. There seemed to be more loyalty to certain people, rather than the club itself. After that changed, the story seemed to be getting better, until all the hard core sex started. I'm not a prude, don't care about anyone's kinks, etc..., but this seemed over the top for the story. Yes, the book starts out with a M/F/M threesome, but then there's M/F/F, F/F/F, F/F, & two couples in the same room. I'm personally not a fan of F/F, so I did skip over these parts in the book. It's not that there is anything wrong with this, it's just not something that I enjoy reading. This book had angst, intense situations, violence, death, betrayal, drama, insta-lust, and some surprise twists. Some of the characters were interesting and I would've liked to known more about them. Aside from the multiple sex scenes, I enjoyed this part of the book, hence the 3 stars. However, these are just my opinions and personal preferences. I have read many of this authors books and I have loved most of them. I will continue to read her work, as I have found that she is a very talented author and creates some amazing stories.

As much as I love a MC book...this one fell flat. The intimate scenes were hot and pretty graphic but there was not really a story. It just felt like segue way, sex scene, segue way, sex scene. I had a really hard time getting through this book and I almost didn't finish it. There just wasn't a connection to the characters for me and that is an important part of a good book for me. I can't recommend this book.

Spoiler alert. I love sexy hot books with great sex but this was just gross. The h has a threesome with no condom and no mention of birth control. Then has sex with the Prez with no protection. Then has a big O on the motorcycle from the vibrations then sex again with the H all this in 48 hours and states there is no time for showers or brushing teeth wearing same clothes and pAnties with all this unprotected sex with different people without bathing or brushing teeth changing clothes. Made my stomach turn. I seNt back for a . Refund at 50 percent. Not impressed

The overall storyline wasn't bad, but there wasn't much to like about the main characters. Did Dax even really like her? Why did he decide to make her his old lady? The characters were way too shallow. I never felt any connection between them. Not to mention the stupid things she kept going along with, especially with the club president. Unfortunately, this was not a very good book.

I like my MC the way I like my martinis. Dirty. Madison finds -JUST THAT- in Dax and his crew (I fanned myself with my kindle). The writing is hard edged and sexy, and Sienna Valentine took me on a ride. Once I picked it up, I wasn't able to put it down. No wimpy bikers in this one, it's just one big steamy romp from cover to cover. Hurry up and write another, because I want to see what happens next!

Story was an ok read. There wasn't enough to the plot to enjoy; too much sex scenes and not enough romance.

If you want gritty sex, gripping plot lines, and sexy MC members that make you want to hop on the next bike you see, this book is for you! Holy hell, Sienna Valentine pours on the heat - she had my heart racing! This book is not for the faint hearted, but it hits the spot perfectly as a biker book! I can't wait to read more from this great writer!

This was a pretty hot mc book with lots of steamy sexy biker loving and a great story thrown in between on the sexy stuff going on!!!

I actually don't know why I bought this and read it. I do like biker books but this had little in depth storyline, it was just a book of men who happened to be bikers and a silly girl who slept with some, using no protection because she liked 'Sons of Anarchy' and wanted to throw off her safe suburban life.She blunders into things without any idea of consequences including threesomes and sex shows with other women etc etc.The usual formula of bikes, clubhouse, prostitution, gambling and drugs was used to write it.It has very little depth, oddly enough it could have been good with some character and plot work and moving away from trying to shock with silly scenarios.The content means it's definitely for older readers. The blurb before you buy details why.
