We've teamed with the USDA to obtain the license for a wonderful patent that attracts all osmia species, or mason bees. Scientific tests concluded that mason bees find nesting holes from scent pheromones and prefer to nest where other mason bees have nested. The attractant is delivered by spraying the InvitaBee contents onto the front of your nesting holes. Use of spray will not guarantee that your bees will stay put. They will, however, significantly help attract native mason bees to your nesting material through the stimulation of two powerful senses - sight and smell.

WORKS! Cheaper than buying bees. Order just 'one at a time' - to avoid excessive shipping costs.
We got a nice Bee House from Costco but the question was - how to attract bees? We didn't want to buy them. I bought this product instead and used it as directed. I sprayed a few holes at two week intervals. Sprayed twice.Within a day or two there were BEES! We didn't have a lot of bees - but about twenty tubes got used by the bees. So, the product works. I only used one bottle. I bought two bottles. They charged shipping on BOTH although I know that adding 1 ounce to the order could not possibly cost them $5.The product is expensive - but cheaper than buying bees. If I were just considering the purchase (this is an early Springtime item only) I would only order once bottle. I am hoping I can keep the second bottle in the fridge and it will remain viable until next year. Otherwise, I wasted my money on that 2nd bottle. :0( Not their fault. BUT, adding the second item to the order WITHOUT adding FULL shipping would have been a kindness. Won't make that mistake again. :0)

Now if they could make an attractant for like.... cupcakes!?
Exactly what it says. We use it every year and have had nothing but success.

Happy
I already had a carpenter bee in my bee house when this attractant arrived. I purchased everything kinda late (end of spring) so I was happy it already had a tenant. I added one of the tubes from the nesting material they sent with the spray to my bee house and sprayed all the entrances as directed. Hard to say if the spray worked or not, but I got another bee in my bee house. It’s a leaf cutter bee and of course the bee is nesting in one of the tubes the Crown Bees sent. Not 100% persuaded about the spray, but will order more tubes from them together with some mason bees next spring.
