Interesting
Its.. a little hard to get your bird used to it. It looks like it fits a bit awkwardly. I went through all the steps they recommended on my very young cockatiel, and she still acted like it was killing her when I put it on. Several times. She flopped about and acted traumatized, and got her foot caught in it. Getting it on alone was a learning curve. Basically now I put my whole hand over her to try and keep her still and calm, and burrito her in it, and carefully pull each of her wings through the holes. And then she proceeds to act like its killing her, but she gets over that faster now.The biggest problems now are, my very affectionate cockatiel avoids me at all costs after I do this. She flies off and fusses at grooming herself through the suit (fortunately she doesn't pick at the suit much, just pokes her head underneath it to her feathers), and wants absolutely nothing to do with me until it comes off. That, and I've noticed she's started to refuse to poop at all while in the suit, which means I can't leave it on her for very long, because she'll probably get stopped up or something bad.At this point, for the most part, I've just been putting up with her pooping everywhere outside of the suit. I wish it were worth the hassle, but I'm worried about turning her mean just because I don't want her pooping on me :(On another note, I've had a little more success with the aviator. She doesn't like getting into that, but once its on she's much more comfortable with it. So at least I can take her outside still for some fun.

GREAT INVENTION !
Conures have become an increasingly popular companion pet; intelligent, affectionate, small and curious. It's this last attribute that can be a challenge to a new birding enthusiast, following around and cleaning up "gifts" in surprising locations. Many establishments permit birds and you find you want to take your bird everywhere. My Conure is young and not an experienced birder, after hearing about the flight suit, I decided the benefits of a leash to reduce hazards, a diaper eliminating mess and, retaining the ability of limited flight (her wings are clipped) all made sense. I didn't relish the thought of getting her to accept it though.I suppose individuality is present in all living things... my bird immediately seemed drawn to the colors and played with her flight suit a couple days before trying it on. Only slightly reluctant at first (there are many, many video experiences recorded on YouTube), my bird quickly got over her apprehension and was spreading her wings. She chews on it but a medium bird wouldn't likely ever chew threw it... its very well constructed.Aside from enjoying more freedom around the house (still MUST supervise however), she seems to enjoy public outings tremendously. Its a 'birdie' fashion accessory that we all have enjoyed so much that we ordered another one! Its great not searching for a wipe and instead disposing of a diaper. Our bird seems to know that slipping it on means fun is a few moments away.Simply a great invention !!

Great idea if implemented properly.
I think this is a neat idea. It is important to read and follow the instructions to get the bird acclimated to this product. The first few times I tried putting it on, the bird went ballistic and was not happy at all. I was afraid I was going to hurt him. After it was on, he kept pecking away at it trying to remove it.The instructions clearly lay out a strategy to get the bird used to the item and how to get him adjusted. It takes time and patience. If you are willing to invest the time and patience required to use this properly I can see this being a terrific idea. I did not follow the instructions and the bird went nuts when I tried to put this on him and I gave up. I did not return the product because it is not the seller's fault that I did not follow their recommendations.Shipping, documentation, & customer service is fine.

Great idea for bigger birds, not so sure about smaller birds
We bought this for our Green Cheek Conure. We were all very excited to be able to take her places with us. We watched the video and tried the slow step method of getting her used to it. Angel is very stubborn and freaks out when you try to place it over her head. We have since given up, seeing how it was causing her so much stress. It would have been nice if it would have worked. It seems like it will work better with larger birds. Good luck.

Return policy
The company that manufactures the flight suits does not accept returns under any circumstances. They are tremendously unfriendly on the phone. The flightsuits are very poor quality, and once it falls apart do to normal use, you will realize you can make your own easily, and it might actually fit the bird right! This leads to the sizing issue...they have sizes for common birds, but for small birds, like greencheeks, be careful with the size you purchase. If it is even slightly too lose, the bird will hate it and you will have wasted your money (depending on the mood when you call to replace it with a different size).

say goodbye to embarrasing poopy droppings
this item is the best pet item ive ever bought, the first day i put the suit on my conure she nibbled at it the entire day, but i couldnt help but be greatful for not having someone tap me on the shoulder to say i had droppings on me. Now i take her more places in the public than i did before, and she so smart now she looks forward to me putting the suit on because she knows she going out on the town. The only downfall about the product is that she damaged the material with her sharp nails so now it has snaggs all over it, but ots worth it and it definately does what it promises to do

not bad
I bought this for my cockatiel she was a little afraid of it before but she's gotten used to it now, I was a little confused of how to put on the lanyard, I wish it had come with instructions with it, overall though its a good idea if you don't want a mess and a missing bird
