I very much like these tires
Bought the cross kings (27.5, 2.3) and put them on front and back of a Scott Scale 720. These are probably the right tires for this style of hardtail bike as it's really a cross country / trail bike. I wanted these for their improved rolling resistance advantages over a pure trail tire. I just rode the new tires on a really diverse mix of conditions: wet mud, wet roots, wet rocks, wed/dry wood walkways, dry dirt, pavement, dry roots, dry rocks, dusty dirt. I noticed more than once the tires absolutely saved me from wiping out. They had more than adequate bite in all conditions. I was riding them with tubes at 30 psi. May go to slightly less psi in future, but not much less. I fell like the price is super-right on these; a bit cheaper then the lower priced Maxxis and way, way cheaper than the higher end tires from any other brands. Recommend unless you really, really need super tires.

Rolls fast, but beware of punctures
Was running Cross King front, Race King rear. After couple of years, had ~8 punctures in RK, and just a few in CK. Fine if you are running tubeless, not so much otherwise.

Excellent upgrade
Very affordable, an excellent upgrade. Easy to seat tubeless.

A little tricky install but worth it
In my opinion the tire is a little pricey and the flat packaging was a little tricky to install. So the installation required my using zip ties approximately every 8 inches on the diameter of the rim and tire after I set the beads In place then add air to keep the seal. Maybe someone has a better idea but that was the only way I could evenly the seat the bead and the full circumference of the wheel

Conti Quality
So far so good, was able to get it mounted up tubeless very easily and it's holding the air perfectly so far. Construction seems very good, and the tread pattern is exactly what I was looking for. Will update if my opinion changes after taking a few big hits on the trail.
