Some 95 years ago in Kansas City, Missouri, brothers Paul and Otto Froeschl thought of an idea for the ordinary straight-nose pliers; angle the nose 32 degrees to create greater leverage and gripping power. Thus was born the original Wilde Wrench, the first pair of angle nose pliers granted U.S. Patent #1,800,447. Review: These are very nice - Very nice pick set. The pouch they can be stored in has a grommet making it easy to hang up and also acts as their packaging which decreases the use of plastics which is important for our world. I decided on these because the all metal construction is physically compact—I carry them in a tool bag—and solvent proof. The most impressive aspect is the strength of the steel. On a few occasions I've had to gouge and pull pretty hard and I was sure I was going to ruin the tip of a tool. All four tools have sharp points, sharp enough that I poked myself reaching into my tool bag and changed the way I carried them. They will definitely draw blood. Despite the fine points I haven't damaged a tip yet.

These are very nice

Well made, Essential tools
I highly recommend these. You'll find many uses for them. They're made from high quality steel. They're like over sized dentist picks. During a recent auto repair I used these several times. They sure did make things easier. Made in USA!

Very nicely made pick set
Very nicely made pick set, I absolutely love that they are made in USA and that not only the pouch, but every tool itself says so. The pouch is well made and I'll probably keep them in the pouch instead of putting them in my pick drawer loosely like all my other picks. The slim handles make them really nice for working on motorcycles, ATVs and other engines / carbs in tight to get places.

good pick set had a problem with the handle coming off had to glue them.pretty much all pick sets including this one are made by ullman so just cut out the middle man and get the ullman set for cheaper

Don't know why, but these are the best hook and pick set.., good metal? Keep selling them.
