I WOULD PREFER THAT THESE BE MADE OF A HEAT-RESISTANT MATERIAL SUCH AS BAKE-O-LITE... BUT INSTEAD THEY ARE MADE OF "NORMAL" PLASTIC (LIKE MOST ALL OTHER PLASTIC KNOBS YOU WILL FIND)... WHICH MEANS THAT THEY WILL PROBABLY MELT, AS HAPPENED TO THE ONE I REPLACED. I USED THIS FOR A ATWOOD/WEDGEWOOD RANGE, TO REPLACE THE OVEN-CONTROL KNOB... AT FIRST I THOUGHT THAT IT DID NOT FIT... TOOK 2ND LOOK, AND APPLIED QUITE A LOT OF FORCE TO THE KNOB (AND ALSO COMPRESSED THE SPLIT/FORKED CONTROL SHAFT) TO FINALLY GET THE KNOB TO MATE... IT'S VERY TIGHT, TO INSTALL BUT WORKING OK

I had a D knob on a cooktop that appears to be very close to 1/4 inch. Every single adapter was either too small (can't push it on) or too large (turns without traction). It's almost hard to believe that goal could be achieved with so many adapters. Maybe a bunch were the same size. I suppose I could have created some kind of insert to make a larger one work, but I found the selection so ridiculous that it was worth making my 2nd refund in over a decade. I wouldn't want these designers to make a nickel off of me. I wanted just one knob and even that was not delivered in the package.

Fits perfectly

Smaller than most factory knobs by about 50%. Fit was a bit tight on the gas valve.

They get the job done, but they don't fit very well. I had to trim out some plastic in the stem to make it work. These are two-piece knobs, and the stems have splines that the knobs slide down onto. They look like they would be super easy to strip out. This is a case of 'you get what you pay for'. Having said that, they do work, and they were very inexpensive. I guess we'll see how they do in the long term.

I used these to replace the knobs on a Camp Chef Everest and a Camp Chef Teton camp stove. They fit perfectly and were easy to install. I haven't used them very long so I can't comment on durability, but they are appear to be better quality than the original knobs. I will probably purchase an additional set to keep in our camper.

The fitting of my stove weren't going to fit with my stove

I am giving it 2 stars because it may work for some stoves. These are NOT at all universal. They seem to be made well and would work if the opening matched my stove burner posts. There are actually only 3 opening sizes. if you look at the picture with the description you can actually see the 3 opening sizes. In my case the largest opening was still not the correct size for my stove. The shape was correct, but the opening is still too small; even the largest one in the set. So, I will keep looking. For me this was money thrown away. :( - Mike P.

Kit comes with a variety of adapters for different splines. Used my kit to replace stove top dials, with the originals metal plated plastic fading and cracking. Also used to replace dial on an instapot type cooker!
