Stowamatic Lite Trac Aluminium Golf Pull Cart

I bought this to replace a heavy pull cart. I was getting too tired on the back nine due to age and my game was suffering. This was the lightest cart I could find. It pulls easy, folds easy and takes less room in my trunk. Made a big difference in my stamina later in the round. The only con was the cable that help to prevent the wheels from splaying out broke before I got it to the course. I fashioned my own cable and the cart works very well.

I've had the Lite Trac for a few weeks now. It is indeed light, rolls on the course nicely and folds well. I'm able to store my clubs and the cart in the fairly limited space in the back of my Jeep 2 Dr Wrangler with the back seat up. But to issues... First, the nut that secures the one screw on the neck fell off and disappeared somewhere after a week. Fortunately I was able to replace the nut out of hardware I had on hand. I used a lock washer to secure the nut so I hope to not have the issue repeat. We'll see. Also, the tires of the wheels are a dense foam rubber material and although they roll smoothly because of the that, I'm not sure how long they'll last. Finally, the thin wire cable the keeps the wheels from splaying stretched after just a few weeks so the the wheels spread too far and just riding on the inside edge of the rubber. Would quickly wear out that way. I "fixed" that issue by just tying a knot in the cable. That seems to have returned the wheels to their original/correct position. I hope they stay that way. If everything holds, I'll be satisfied with this cart. If not, I'll have to buy a new one in short order.

This cart was exactly what I was looking for! It's incredibly lightweight yet sturdy, folds up easily, it's compact, and it wheels easily and smoothly across the course. My favorite feature is that the wheels pop off, so it takes up less space when you've got it folded up in your trunk, garage, or basement. They lock into place, so I've never had an issue with them coming loose or popping off when I didn't want them to. Strap is decent and holds my bag securely in place. Not a lot of bells and whistles to it. Score sheet holder and golf ball holder are there, but I don't really use them. A drink holder would be perfect, but at this price point you get what you pay for. During the warmer months I keep it folded up in my trunk along with my golf bag so I'm always ready to go. Easy to set up and use every time. Definitely recommend!

I thought I would play a few rounds with this before reviewing. Working good so far. Literally no assembly other than putting the wheels on which just slide and click into place. Folds up into a fairly small size for transport, and does not require taking your bag off. You can tell they use cheaper plastics to bring the cost down so I could possibly see the handle or other plasics breaking under heavy use on a rough hilly course. The course I play normally is fairly flat so I don't put much torque on the handle or other parts. The scorecard holder is ok but not great. I wish it had a bottle holder but other than that this product has worked as advertised and for $50 or less you can't beat it.

Buying experience was good, I have done business with both companies involved, Golf Outlets and Amazon.Golf cart is really nice (and light) and a little bigger than the one it replaced so it's kinda like buying a bigger car. I wish (as a whole for things like this) they would use some metal for the buckles you use when attach your bag to the cart....The wheels come off easily so it can be thrown in the trunk quickly. My old cart lasted about 15-18 years so like the title says time will tell and this product needs to prove itself but I am very sure I will get my moneys worth.I'd give this 4.5 stars !!!!!

Good value. Built well. Works fine and keep the overall weight down.

I use on a short par 3 when I want to pull and walk. Its light weight folds easily and even fits with my golf bag in my Mustang convertible trunk so a plus for me. The only downside is that it does not come with a water bottle holder, so I am thinking of checking out those holders used for bicycles and mounting on upper handle but not sure how that will effect folding, so to be continued.

One of the screws broke on the second time I used it. However, they replaced the cart at no charge and since then the new one has worked perfectly. Quite honestly, the cart is cheaply made but it does the job. The straps that hold the bag are cheap but functional. In all, it does what it is made to do and that is to hold a bag of clubs and at the price, it is worth it. I have doubts about the longevity of the cart, but that remains to be seen. At the moment it is working fine.
