I love this soap for the fact that it lathers well and is mild and has barely any scent. I use it on my face and find it to be a much better value than similar foaming cleansers in a pump and there's no plastic so less waste! I find it is mild and cleans well. My skin is sensitive and this product never irritates it and I feel good knowing it isn't stripping my skin at all. It also doesn't just melt into a wet lump either. I keep one in the shower and it holds together well in the damp environment but lathers up instantly. I also like its shape for the fact that it is easy to hold in my hands and use. You get a nice size bar for the money and each lasts for a long time. I have been using this soap for about a year and a half and it's my favorite. it is also non-comedogenic. I used to use the non-foaming cetaphil cleanser in the pump bottle because it is gentle but it doesn't foam at all and feels like it's not working even though I know it must be. I know that foam is not the indicator that a soap is effective but I like the lather and this soap is a perfect combination of value, effective cleaning, ease of use, less waste, light to no scent and gentle on my skin.

I am a 59 yo male and for some reason, as of recently, all over-the-counter body soaps dry my skin and make me itch. After considerable research I took a chance on this. It lathers fine, doesn't dry my skin or make me itch. Keep in mind, it does have a mild fragrance. But from now on, this is my new favorite soap and I highly recommend it to everybody. It's worth giving a try.

This soap was recommended by my dermatologist over three years ago. It has been my only bathing soap since and it's great. It leaves my skin soft, fully cleaned and with no residue. I use this and two other Cetaphil products. I'm a big fan.
