Thousand and one uses!
These work wonderful on thread spools, but can also be used for other purposes, like charging cable ties, securing bundles of ribbons or strings, bundling pens & pencils, etc. I love things that are multipurpose.

Wife Loves The!

Didn’t work for my needs
I didn’t like this product because it didn’t work on the tiny spools 🧵 of thread that you can purchase at the dollar store, which is the main reason I ordered it for. It did work very well on the regular sized spools of thread which I had very few of.

Love these spool huggers! They grip your thread and keep your thread intact and you don’t have strings hanging everywhere and they look so nice. You won’t regret purchasing them!

Works good the first two uses but then loses its "form"
Great product for keeping the loose thread of the spool tidy, however I do find that after taking the hugger on a off just a couple of times (literally like 2 times on and then off and then on and then off again) the silicon had already lost some of its "strength" and seemed too loose on my spool. The more thread I used and the smaller my spool became, the less snuggly the spool hugger would hug it.

Wish I'd known about these sooner!
I purchased 100 of these thread wraps, and only wish I'd known about them sooner. After moving, I no longer have the horizontal space for the lovely wooden spool racks so all of my thread is stored in clear zipper bags, sorted by colour. These thread wraps keep my spools nice and tidy when in the bag together, and keep the thread tails from escaping when I have a couple of colour changes waiting on my sewing table next to my machine. I keep these handy and am gradually using them on all my thread spools (both slim and standard) and have found them to be a good investment.

These spool wraps seem to work well so far (on a variety of sized spools). Only negative is that I can’t buy all of the same color, I’m a bit obsessive...
