Excellent sheath for the money
I bought this sheath based not on reviews but taking a chance due to its specs.The leather and stitching is first rate and I put a coat of mink oil on the leatherto protect it from the elements. The leather slightly darkened but looks great IMO.The fire steel loop is a nice touch as well and the seller answered my question about the sizeof the loop the same day. It holds a 3/8" fire steel rod tightly and I doubt it will fall out.While my ESEE Camp Lore 4 came with a nice leather belt sheath but I prefer Scout carry of a knifewhen out in the woods. It fits quite well in this sheath and I plan on ordering the left hand versionof the sheath as well for EDC cross draw horizontal carry in the near future.

Esee 4HM
I got the small horizontal version for my Esee 4HM. I think it fit perfect. The knife is snug with no movement. The pictures for this product are a little misleading. What looks like metal reinforcement for each snap is actually a cheap thin piece of leather colored just right to mislead the buyers. It worked. I was a little disappointed when I received it; the leather used for the snaps is a little thin. Besides that, for what you pay it’s not a bad sheath. This a follow up review: After some use the Esee 4 Hm has some movement and it can fall out. I will have to add some more leather to the inside of the sheath to make the knife more secure.

For the right knife it’s a great sheath
It’s very well made. My only complaint is the handle on my knife doesn’t fit the tightest closure. Blade is loose in the sheath. Could fall out.
