I really wanted to like this product mostly for the cheapness of it and the simplity of it. Plug it in, start your car, and it starts recording. But it has two big flaws that I just can't get over regarding using it as a dash camera.The first one is, it is not a "Ultra-wide-angle Lens". I drive a Ram 1500 which as a really tall hood, meaning I can't see much street directly in front of my truck. With this camera I am not able to get the edge of my truck hood and the traffic light all in frame when sitting at a light. To me that is a huge flaw because if I get a green light and need to start entering the intersection but someone runs a red light and hits me, I won't have any proof that the light is green. I could tilt the angle to include the traffic light but then the bottom of the video wouldn't have enough information to see what would need to be seen.The second biggest flaw is the screen resolution. I had mine set on 1080p and even in sunny day light when light is not an issue, the quality of the video is pretty bad. In testing, I wasn't able to get a license plate number in ideal lighting and then testing at night was even worst. This in my opinion is a huge deal, I don't expect GoPro quality video from something costing $20. But I should be able to at least make out license plate numbers from the video.

Examples are: Camera has no HDMI port. it is not high definition, it is in fact very low quality, Seller sent it with a dead battery that won't charge. screen is not 2.7 inch, it is more like 2.2 inch, manual is for different camera, it is not a wide angle lens, description states 600mAh battery, the manual states 250mAh battery, and I doubt is is even a 50mAh battery, fully charged battery lasts less than 10 seconds, no usb cable was included some settings do not work, no beep, video is totally washed out as you can see hereBEWARE: This is NOT a K6000 dash cam

It's pretty cheap but there is some downs to this.The Goods: It's Pretty small, lightweight, somewhat easy to use.The Bads: Does not actually records at 1080p I only notice it record up to 480p max (That might just be mines). Battery Life goes from Full Charge to 0% in under 2 mins Max. When recording I notice the video is very shaky. While connected and Recording with audio the cam starts making this weird buzzing noise but that might just be mines.But I do enjoy using this while I'm driving (Might want to spend a little more on a better one, I know I will someday).But!....it is good for this price if you don't mind some of these flaws.

I would place a lower star if there was one. This product failed from the beginning. I received the 12 volt car connector, broken. I bought a new one, but the camera, even having the same rehired amperage, doesn't works at all. I requested a refund, don't know if they did I it, but buyers beware. Don't buy this one if you need a court case scenario!!!

Instructions are not good. Nothing in the instructions explains how to access or understand the menu structure. The instructions don't match what you see when you turn the unit on. I believe I wasted my money.

I tried many SD cards and it still didn't work.
