Worth the price because my hair looks and feels amazing.
A while ago, I got a free gift from another website that included Kronos Hydresse shampoo and conditioner in one ounce bottles. I didn't think much about them but eventually decided to give them a try. My hair looked amazing after I used the shampoo and conditioner but I didn't connect it really with the products. I went back to my usual stuff and my hair looked the usual way - frizzy, flat, dull. I once again used the just the shampoo this time to see if it made a difference and it really did. Even without the conditioner using my Matrix conditioner, my hair looked amazing. Now I am at wit's end because I had no idea how pricey this stuff was! I want the shampoo and conditioner and never want to use anything else but wow. The cost.I have used up my bottles and my hair just doesn't look anywhere near as good as it does when I use this product. I have long, dry hair that is layered and needs volume and shine. This shampoo - and the conditioner - gave me everything I wanted and needed. I think it's worth the price to have hair that looks as good as mine does when I use this shampoo. I saw negative reviews here and can't figure them out. I never usually notice such dramatic differences in my hair but I know for sure that Kronos Hydresse is exactly what my hair needs and, if I have to sell my house to get it, well, I have cardboard boxes to live in. Ha. It really is great stuff. I wish it were not so pricey but, for me, it's well worth it.

Gotten no better!
I ordered this shampoo several years ago and it was no good then so I decided to research it today to see if it had gotten any better for the ridiculously high price. Review after review I see that has not changed

Not worth the $$
Big claims; big pricetag; so-so results. Initially, I was put off by how much this cost, but I thought, "If it really does what it says it will do, maybe it's worth the extra money." Not at all. This shampoo is better than drugstore brands but about the same as salon brands. Save your money.

Dissapointed
The first time I tried this product my hair was AMAZING. It was soft and silky. This was the third bottle I ordered and it became useless. My hair turned into a hay bale and it stopped working. So I decided my 30 bucks or however much it is today, were not worth it and that 7 dollar shampoo works better.

Great shampoo, deceptive business practices
I ordered the “free” trial and a month later was charged $100 on my credit card. Beware of the small print. That being said, the shampoo is terrific but you have to adjust your shampooing habits and cut WAY back on the amount of shampoo used. I am a 72 year old male with a decent amount of hair and a slight touch of dandruff. I wash my hair 2-3 times a week. I’ve found that if I use Selsun Blue for the dandruff, then rinse thoroughly, I need use only a small amount of the Kronos (a glop about the size of a dime) to get excellent results. The original 10 oz bottle has lasted almost 2 years so the outrageous price isn’t so bad when priced out over that time frame. Finish it up with a spot of Wen before drying and you’ll be happy with the results. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for that “free trial” con.

Great results
I've been surprised by the negative reviews. Can only think that those who are unhappy with the results must have severly over-processed hair and the only thing that will help that is shaving to the scalp and starting over. I've tried all those expensive products that make great promises (Pureology, Kerastse, Fekkai, etc.) and all have disappointed. I have my hair colored once a month, without it I am completely grey and not ready to go there yet. I pay good money to a professional who is meticulous about touching up the roots only, so that the old growth isn't over-processed by the new color. My concern was after so many years of coloring the grey, my hair was losing some of it's life, and, I'm 55 so age plays a part. I started using Kronos 4 years ago and it put the life, bounce and shine right back in. I love it. Those that complain about the price haven't figured out the ordering process. Here's the thing, if you buy individual products it's expensive. However, if you sign on for the timed refills to be automatically shipped to you, you get a great deal, you get to choose the frequency of the shipping refills , 30 days, 60, days, 120 days, etc., and it saves you time from that additional stop at a beauty supply store. I get the Hydresse shampoo, conditioner and flexible hair spray all for $28. Great deal! Great product!!!

WASTE OF MONEY
All of the Kronos products are a BIG ripoff! This overpriced mess doesn't even work as well as the drug store brand shampoos and conditioners. I tried Kronos and it surely didn't transform my hair (as claimed) -- the purchase of Kronos made my wallet lighter which made me sadder :-(I purchased the "hydrating shampoo" hoping it would help with my overly dry hair/frizzy hair. I found nothing hydrating about it--Kronos makes lots of empty promises. I used it for about one month with no good results.SKIP THESE PRODUCTS!

The Absolute Best
This is honestly the best shampoo for dry hair. Along with the heavy duty conditioner, Phyxx, your hair will be awesome. Use the conditioner after coloring hair at home. Leave in over night. I normally due it for the first three nights after color. Once a month, or week, or twice a week. Rinse in the morning it will feel like silk.Shampoo is easier to apply if you water it down. I turn one bottle into three. Penetrates hair easily to scalp and rinses super easy. There is a regular conditioner, spray-on leave in and a finishing one for shine. You are worth the cost.
