My dad recently ordered and purchased a new 2020 legacy XT. He was bummed out that he had to put both his license plate straight on to the new car's bumpers. He didnt want the license plate to scratch up the bumper and what not, so I went ahead and looked to see if there was any sort of scratch resistant frame. I ran across this one. Since my dad was also interested in those gap seat organizers this was perfect. I went ahead and bought it after comparing it to other competitors. I liked how it's well ventilated with drain holes at the bottom. The little caps that the screws are covered with are not plastic and are metal which is nice. Overall I'm sure my dad is satisfied with the peace of mind knowing his new car isnt getting scratched up by the license plate.

The car dealership did a horrible job with putting the license plates on our brand new car. They used the wrong screws, way to long and ended up screwing into the front bumper of the vehicle. Well I knew I didn't want to advertise for them for free so I found these. I think they work great, one problem was the screws that came with it were way to small to attach it but the screw caps are a great feature, hopefully it will keep the screws from rusting. My husband went to Advanced Auto and the guys their figured it out for us. No rattle noise or extra scratches from the license plates anymore! This product wraps around the license plate snug and fits great!!! I noticed my mom still has on the free dealer plate cover, she will be getting a set of these soon.

Dealer plate frames really annoy me. Why anyone would spend five figures on a vehicle and then advertise for the dealership for years is beyond me. That being said...I am a hypocrite. I did it for 7 years with my last vehicle. In fact...5 of those years I was advertising a dealership that no longer existed! Anyway, I just brought home a new Crosstrek and wanted a cleaner look this time around. Also most screws tend to rust after a year so I wanted to avoid the unsightliness of oxidation as well. I am very happy with the clean finish that this silicone mounting set gives the "glutes" of my vehicle. It was easy to install and the fact that it's a 2-pack means that my wife's car gets a facelift too! Just make sure you put the drainage slits toward the bottom and you'll likely be as satisfied as we are.

Didn't like how my license plate banged on the back hatch on my new Jeep Grand Cherokee. Putting the layer of silicone there cushioned it and now I'm not worried about damaging the paint.

It took me a while to figure out that the disturbing noise I was hearing in my new car was due to the rear license plate rattling around. This silicone license frame did a great job silencing the noise. It also looks good.I like the fit and finish of the silicone frames. One thing that drew me to this items was the 'mesh' holes in the back that allows it to breath better. Not sure if this is necessary, but it's worked well. It also has drain holes in the "bottom" of the frame which is good. (Make sure you put the side with the drain holes down, rather than up.)I also found it handy that it comes with a set of screws, as I needed a couple of new ones.All said and done, I'm happy with this product!

These silicone plate frames were easy to put on my license plate, and they look great!! There are vents in the back of these frames for water draining. There are also slots at the bottom of the frame for draining, but the instructions do not state this, or picture it. I discovered it when I was putting the plates back on my car. I had to remove the frame, replace my plates into the frame to have the draining slots at the bottom, there are no slots at the top of the frame. I chose not to use the screws and screw covers that came with the silicone plate frame, I used the original plate screws. Fingers crossed this frame helps keep the plate paint from peeling off. I also like the added bonus of the car seat gap filler.

These are really nice silicone frames and honestly the little seat gap filler thing thats included is awesome itself.Just a note about those screw covers, once you have them on they are not coming off. So if you plan on taking off your license plate in the next few years I would really advise against using them. Otherwise you're gonna have to use a destructive method to get them off.
